This spot was recommended to me by a local - and it did not disappoint. You order at the front and they bring your food out to you. I got the house swordfish sandwich. So fresh and delicious - grilled fish so you really get the fresh flavor, served with greens, tomato, avocado, and tartar sauce on a soft ciabatta roll. Best fish sandwich I’ve had. The staff is friendly and helpful as well! When I come back to La Jolla, El Pescador will be first on my list!

We have had the best U6 Shrimps, amazing baby squads grilled and a seperate portion of sauteed. Two kind of wild Cod selections of grilled. Was amazing taste and experience to eat here . Thanx

My favorite fish market in San Diego! Love the king salmon and halibut they bring in. Cioppino is rich and delicious! Don't forget to try the horchata!
One of the best restaurants I have been to in La Jolla. Super fresh fish! Great variety on their menu. Creative drinks and beers. Great shareables! Definitely a must visit if you are visiting La Jolla! Friendly staff, amazing food, and fresh food! wheelchair accessible. Restrooms (not public restrooms).

This place is expensive! However the food is worth the price. Heck even if you do not feel like spending your money I would come here. You will not be disappointed. Shrimp plate was good and so was the Breaded Calamari Sandwhich borrego style. Bread used was good and if you could take it home by itself it would also be worth trying.
