I really wanted to like this place. I had read about it on the Opulist blog site and had high expectations for it, but wanted to keep an open mind. It’s super cute inside and centrally located, but they don’t seem equipped for the level of quality they are charging for. It was almost $100 for our meal. Our food took almost a hour to come out to us and lacked flavor and substance, the orange juice was underripe and overpriced and the smoothie simply tasted like whey protein. Someone did come to check to see if we received everything, but wasn’t aware that we hadn’t received anything at all. I do wish them the best as I see potential, but overall it was very disappointing.

I really recommend this place, it has a very aesthetic atmosphere. The coffee was great we got the Mexican mocha and a dirty chai. The pastries were delicious and fresh as well, it’s a great place to start your morning and head out to the beach after. (:

It’s a pretty busy spot but wait isn’t terrible. Their mexican mocha is bomb.

I wish I could leave zero. I almost never leave reviews. The food is mediocre given the cost. The service is terrible.

Wonderful little cafe! Stopped in briefly on a hot day to get a refreshing drink. We looked at the menu and decided to grab a bite. While the menu does not have anything specifically vegan, they were extremely accommodating and made us something special and enjoyable. Thanks for taking care of us! Kenny from SF & Luca + Ari from Zurich :)

“Wonderful spot in the heart of La Jolla! Their avocado toast is truly the best—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The coffee is consistently great, and the environment is warm, welcoming, and perfect whether you’re meeting friends or just enjoying a quiet moment. Amazing service and a place that always makes you want to come back.”

We just had coffees, and they were both pretty terrible. Tasted chemically :/ The server was also kind of rude and unbothered. Wouldn’t recc tbh. Just go elsewhere

Really cute shop with beautiful interior. Also super nice and kept my sunglasses safe when I lost them :)

We love the food here. The portion is decent with the prices. Very nice indoor dining and outdoor patio.

We are here on vacation and this was so amazing. The atmosphere with outdoor seating was perfect for our little family. The host was so kind and genuine! The food was so delicious and fresh. Great four our young kids. My five year old wolfed down a whole açaí bowl. She said how it this so good! It really was the best açaí bowl I have ever had.
We can’t wait to come back.
I would suggest to the owners to get a bigger sign. It’s hard to pick out.
