It's been a while since I last visited Fan-Fan. The menu here has changed, and it feels a bit like Panda Express, probably to cater to foreign tastes. At noon, the place is crowded with people waiting in line—it almost feels like a Chinese canteen for international students. You grab a plate, choose your favorite dishes, and pay by weight. I’m pretty impressed that a restaurant inside the campus can be this delicious and authentic! I’m so happy for the Chinese students studying here because the food here really satisfies my Chinese stomach. They have a big varieties of Chinese foods including braised pork belly and roasted duck which are my favorites, they also have sweet sour pork and honey shrimps for more American Asian customers. Food is amazing and its always filled to the brim with international students (thats how you know its gonna be good). Love the self-served and weighted style and the rice is really cheap. Just wish the food was cheaper, expect to spend $18+ for a full meal and more if you want drinks or sides.
