The French toast was delicious! And smoothie was bland. Outdoor seating was wobbly.

I enjoyed the salmon wrap. Very quickly made, very good, and a good price.
Freshería in La Jolla is the ultimate spot for fresh, healthy, and downright delicious eats. Tucked away in the charming Village of La Jolla, this cozy little gem is all about serving up vibrant, nutrient-packed meals that leave you feeling good inside and out. If you’re into clean eating without sacrificing flavor, this place is a must-visit.
The Food:
Freshería’s menu is a celebration of fresh, whole ingredients with a creative twist. Their bowls are the star of the show—I went for the “Baja Bowl,” and it was a flavor explosion. Think quinoa, black beans, grilled chicken, avocado, pico de gallo, and a tangy lime vinaigrette, all layered to perfection. Every bite was fresh, satisfying, and packed with texture. They also have amazing tacos (the cauliflower ones are a game-changer) and salads that are anything but boring. Oh, and don’t skip their agua frescas—the watermelon mint is like a sip of summer.
Vibe:
The vibe at Freshería is laid-back and welcoming, with a casual, beachy feel that fits right in with La Jolla’s relaxed energy. The space is small but cozy, with a few outdoor tables where you can enjoy your meal while soaking up the SoCal sunshine. It’s the kind of place where you can roll up in your flip-flops, grab a quick bite, and feel totally at ease.
Service:
The staff are super friendly and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. They’re happy to walk you through the menu or make recommendations if you’re new to the Freshería experience. The service is quick and efficient, making it a great spot for a healthy meal on the go.
Overall:
Freshería is a breath of fresh air in La Jolla’s dining scene. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking for a healthy, flavorful meal in a chill, no-fuss setting. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu and soak in the good vibes.

Only reason why I gave two stars is because there's a full menu and smoothies. Plenty of crap to choose from. I had the teriyaki bowl and a smoothie for $25. Chicken was dry and lacked flavor.... I've had better microwavable versions. Every table was empty and filthy including the floor. The service was meh at best.

This was a treat to stumble across. They have a very broad menu, there was seafood for my wife, a good meat sandwich for me, wraps and fruits for my kids. Covered us all. Portion sizes were large! I was surprised cause the prices were not steep. Everything felt fresh and healthy. Will go again.
Employees were nice.

Their agua fresca is good, I like that it's not overly sweet like some places and actually tastes like fresh fruit. Their online menu doesn't always reflect what they actually have in store though.

These guys make a very good veggie breakfast burrito. It comes well stuffed with veggies and soft scrambled eggs. You can have it with their tasty house salsa.
I do with they would place the burrito on the hot griddle after they roll it to help firm up the burrito.
The service was friendly enough. They have a good amount of seating inside. They have an extensive menu offering breakfast and lunch.
Parking: Very small parking lot.

I ordered the power acai bowl and I basically got a bowl of blended soup. This is the very worst acai bowl I've ever had. Frustrating that money was spent on this.
Great place for lunch and take out! Great food! Good value for fresh and yummy meals! I love agua fresca! Fruit cups are beautiful and yummy. I got the lentil soup, steak and eggs burrito, corn cup, and turkey sandwich for our group. We loved EVERYTHING! There is something for everyone!
