I used GRNFC’s catering services, A la carte, for our informal engagement party at our home. I compared many companies and felt this group offered the widest range of high quality, unique, and fun options, as well as offering them at much lower prices than what I was finding from other companies (fewer options, and much less exciting options, too).

Sarah, the catering sales manager, was always quickly communicative and was even available on a Saturday when my order arrived and I briefly needed her help with something. She helped me with deciding which food options would complement each other and assisted me with navigating food restrictions and space restrictions.

Delivery was on time and quality (the delivery person helped check the order for completion and everything). The food items were well packaged (Sarah gave me measurements ahead of time to make sure I could fit it all in my fridge).

My guests are STILL talking about the food and how impressed they were with the taste and presentation, and they were pretty surprised when I told them the cost- they thought it would’ve been way more costly than what it actually was.

I will 100% use GRNFC services again in the future.

We used Giuseppe’s for bar services at our August 2025 wedding, and we were extremely happy with the experience. Our venue required us to work with them, and while the service was definitely on the pricier side (disclosure: we didn't do any price comparisons), we were so impressed with the professionalism and quality of service.

The true standout was Christina Dickens — I honestly can't say enough good things about her. She was an absolute dream to work with: kind, professional, incredibly responsive, and always clear in her communication. Throughout the planning process, Christina made everything feel seamless and stress-free. She was always patient, even when we changed our minds multiple times and asked a billion questions (we didn't have a planner).

Admittedly, I didn’t have much direct interaction with the bartenders during the event (people were kindly bringing drinks to me!), but I heard nothing but great things — they were friendly, fast, and super accommodating with guests.

Overall, we had a great experience with Giuseppe’s and would absolutely recommend them to other couples — especially if you have the chance to work with Christina!

We used Guiseppe's for our Bar for our wedding this past Friday on 8.8.2025 at Scripps Seaside Forum. The bartenders who work there are top notch, they are excellent, they keep the good vibes going and they were so accomodating. They went above and beyond to provide us which such a great wedding that we will always remember and our guests will always rave about. We couldn't recommend them enough!

Wedding planning is notoriously stressful, but some decisions felt right from the start: locking in Scripps Seaside Forum (it only took 22 months!!), booking the exclusive bar vendor: Giuseppe Bar Services with an insanely great bar package, and securing our catering needs with Giuseppe Fine Catering.

SSF did us a real solid and helped reduce decision fatigue by providing us only one bar vendor to book... with super affordable rates for everything offered. Throughout the planning process, Christina, the Bar Manager, was so delightful, helpful and fun to interact with.

My husband and I were pretty ambitious and wanted to serve Strong Water's Birds of Paradise cocktail as our signature drink. The recipe requires 2~3 days of prep, and we originally planned to prep it ourselves the week of. After running the request by Christina, which I was fully expecting to be shot down, she was very accommodating, although she did preface that this ask isn't so common.

On our wedding day, our guests were not only dazzled by the extraordinary and quick service from the onsite bar team, but also the signature cocktail, which tasted just like and resembled the original version, garnished with a fuchsia orchid.

Deciding on catering was another story... There are 16 caterers approved by SSF. After a smooth and easy experience booking Giuseppe Bar Services, Christina introduced me to Chef Giuseppe and we booked our first wedding tasting directly with Chef. The tasting was at Chef Giuseppe's charming restaurant Candor, where he walked us through every dish and ingredient source (what's Maldon salt?!) with such passion and expertise. The presentation was clean, refined and beautiful, reminiscent of a fine dining experience. Our package included one entrée, but Giuseppe generously allowed us to offer two: skirt steak and sea bass, plus a vegetarian option.

On our wedding day, compliments from about two-thirds of our guests, including many food enthusiasts, validated our early decision. Even when guests returned to their seats from chasing golden hour photos to slightly cooled steaks, they still raved it was incredibly tender, perfectly medium rare and well seasoned. Plus my Wedding Planner was really impressed by David's, the Catering Director, attention to detail and attentiveness.

Despite booking relatively late (14 months out), Chef Giuseppe personally responded to my emails, mostly within a few hours! If you're not familiar with Giuseppe Fine Catering, his parent company encompasses 6 business units, all of which are successful in their own rights and at pretty large scale, so his time to respond back meant a lot to me.

We are now trying to refer our friends to book them as caterers, and any time we're back in La Jolla, we will make an effort to dine at Candor or Caroline's (if it's a beach day!). There was a lot at stake when it came to our catering decision, and the steak (heh!) was the clear MVP.

This guy couldn’t cook his way out of a paper bag. He’s a mere figurehead with an ego that exceeds his ability to cook. He owes me a lot of back pay. A LOT!

We used Giuseppe for our catering and our bar at Scripps Seaside Forum and I cannot recommend enough. Our guests raved about the food and the services and Giuseppe was so easy to work with. We worked with Christina for their bar services and she's so organized, friendly and, most of all, helpful. Wedding planning can be a stressful time and Christina gave us accurate alcohol quantities, reassurance and peace of mind that everything was going to go smoothly!

We worked with Giuseppe in connection with bar service for our wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum. We were so impressed with Giuseppe during the entire planning process. They worked with us to ensure the wine, beer, and specialty cocktail menu were exactly what we wanted, even going as far as to use our own margarita recipe for the day. All of the bartenders and servers were so kind and friendly to us and our guests, and obviously the drinks were a hit! Highly recommend working with Giuseppe for your next event!

Wow they did an amazing job catering my party. The bar service had everything, the chef Robin was amazing! The food was sooo good and the best part was that everything was spotless afterwards!! Definitely will use again and recommend.

Giuseppe's name makes our families smile thinking back on our wedding day. We hired him and his team for our wedding dinner, our wedding bar service, and eventually added on a catered rehearsal dinner. All three were fantastic.He and his staff were incredibly professional and kind not only during the menu planning/tasting process, but in every correspondence leading up to the wedding and during the wedding itself. Even the young servers kindly wished us congratulations as they rushed between the kitchen and dining room making sure every detail was perfect. His executive chef, Chef Rashi, greeted me as I snuck into Scripps with a smile and a congratulations. He remembered us from our second tasting, which he knocked out of the park! All of this plus wonderful service for our plated dinner AND the food was PHENOMENAL. People call and text us just to tell us how good the food was. Giuseppe and his team worked closely with us to make sure the menu was exactly what we wanted, including making some changes and customizations to our entrees and helping us sort out our dessert selection.For our rehearsal dinner we had their catered boxed dinners, which are honestly enough food for two people and this was also absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop eating. And they came delivered right on time in these convenient, temperature control bags.I honestly may drive to Candor soon and ask him to recreate our wedding dinner just so I can eat it again. Thank you Giuseppe, Chef Rashi, and your entire staff for making our wedding so memorable and extra special.

Very impressed! We had a small holiday party and hired Guiseppe's catering. Everything went perfectly and the food was delicious! I saw many of our guests second servings and we received many positive comments on the food taste and quality. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Giuseppe catered my Nov 2021 wedding (125 ppl) at a downtown venue in San Diego. There was a change in one of the head managers so when she left Chef Giuseppe took charge. The venue I booked did not allow open flames of any sort so when Giuseppe found out he let me know that the menu would have to be altered for quality/freshness. Very understandable, however, a month out and with our menu cards already printed it was a little stressful. Giuseppe offered to pay for new menu cards and ensured me that the food would be even better than originally planned (and still have an Italian zest to it). All of our guests have commented on delicious the food was and they loved the family style catering. The day of the wedding the servers were very professional the servers and efficient. Chef Giuseppe was kind through the process and made our wedding day food even more than what I could have imagined.
