My wife is half Cuban on her mother side, and I can attest that this spot is the real deal. Not only is the ropa vieja was perfect! The Yuca fries were awesome, the empanadas were fantastic, and the black beans paired with everything. The rice was warm and buttery, and the service was so fast I was shocked the food was ready. Those place is a gem that you can’t miss if you enjoy Cuban food and atmosphere! My wife is a vegetarian and she got the veggie empanadas, and it was her favorite.

The food was fantastic, and I’d honestly say it’s one of the best Cuban sandwiches I’ve ever had. But the service could definitely be improved. If tipping were an option after the meal, I probably wouldn’t have left a cent.
