My wife is half Cuban on her mother side, and I can attest that this spot is the real deal. Not only is the ropa vieja was perfect! The Yuca fries were awesome, the empanadas were fantastic, and the black beans paired with everything. The rice was warm and buttery, and the service was so fast I was shocked the food was ready. Order at the counter, very good atmosphere. Curry chicken was so good! Black beans seasoned very well, excellent dish I’ve never had, great experience, friendly staff!

Love this place! We have enjoyed everything we have gotten there! Definitely get the MOJO sauce to go with the Tostones! We wish they had a location in North County, but happy to find a good Cuban place!
