Favorite new spot in La Jolla.
Food is awesome, cool atmosphere and great service! The Arabe shrimp tacos are the best tacos I ever had! And the grilled cauliflower is killer!

I went to this restaurant because of reviews hoping to get authentic fish tacos.
Service was not great - I was ignored sitting with empty cup and had to walk to refill my water twice. First time I did it was in front of the employees yet they didn’t see a problem, apparently it’s ok.
Food is overpriced - $8 for a plain tasteless taco. Clam chowder was insanely over salted.
Check never arrived, I had to walk to a register and ask to be checked out.
In addition to that, I saw my waiter actively serving tables with more people - I assume because he would get a bigger tip from more people. The place wasn’t busy for me to experience this kind of “service”.
Never coming back.

Such an amazing experience! Food was amazing, people were very kind and the restaurant was very clean! I completely loved the full experience! I told them I was visiting San Diego celebrating my birthday. They gave me an ice cream, and sang happy birthday to me! ?

A truly authentic Mexican outpost in La Jolla. Great food, drinks and service (hola, Victor!) at a sensible price. Top spot!

It's delicious! My favorite is the Kalifornia taco and the super fresh ahi tuna. The waiter Christian is super friendly.

Dietary restrictions: Very open to making any necessary changes

Kid-friendliness: There is plenty of space in the unit and they have chairs

I've seen this location evolve from a Hawaiian food restaurant to 2 other incarnations of Mexican food and I'm glad it finally transitioned into this. The food and service is excellent!

The food was ok and over-priced. What threw us off was the terrible service. We came here at 5:30 pm on a Saturday and waited for 30 min to get a table. After we were seated, we were left there alone and for twenty minutes there wasn’t a single waiter/ waitress coming to us. After seeing two tables who arrived after us getting served, I couldn’t hold it anymore and I called the manager. The manager apologized and found us a last-minute waitress, whose service was sub-par. She brought us only the salsa first and the chips didn’t arrive until ten minutes later. There was no enough silverware on the table for the four of us. Definitely won’t come back.

Excellent food and service. I recommend the soft shell crab taco and the red snapper tostada.

Tons of flies, and when mentioned to the server his response was "there are flies everywhere in La Jolla..."
