This place is SO GOOD. I kept insisting we needed to go to La Jolla Village for our final night of dining before leaving on a flight back to NYC. My husband found this spot and am I so glad we decided to just pop over and head to the village later. This food was outstanding. We ended up ordering every ceviche available on the menu. The fish taco was one of the freshest / crispiest we’ve ever had. My husband loved his soft shell crab taco. It was a Tuesday night, so quieter save for another family and a couple of locals. Things that were said over dinner: “if we lived here, I would come here every week and sit at the counter and just order from the raw menu.” “Omg. That might be the best fish taco I’ve ever had.” My 7 year old (sometimes picky) housed 2 fish tacos (we just made sure to say no sour cream).

Basically, don’t sleep on this place. If you’re local to La Jolla, I’m jealous that you can go here whenever you want.

We had a wonderful meal and enjoyable cocktails. One of the finest meals we had in La Jolla area. A certain repeat if we're in the area.

Was the best meal we had while in San Diego. Originally planned to go to the sandwich shop just down the road but they were closed. My husband had the La Corriente burrito and he could finish it. My friend and I shared the Octopus Chicharron. The guacamole served with the Chicharron was really good. The restaurant was nicely decorated and service was great.

To be clear this is mainly a Mexican Seafood restaurant. None the less, they did have 1 non-seafood option in the Burrito and it was pretty good.

Unpretentious, un-apologetic, and not your typical Mexican cuisine in the US. Experience the raw bar, the tacos and especially the chowder. Pictures is the soft shell crab taco which is the perfect taco in flavor, texture, and experience. This is a must stop and hands down best taco in La Jolla. Thank you chefs, thank you front of house. It was an amazing experience.

Exceptional. Anybody who doesnt give this place 5 stars is totally unreliable and not to be trusted. Great service, every dish was the best version of itself. Snapper tostada, soft shell crab taco, grilled shrimp main... All excellent. Sad I didn't get to try the octopus but next time.

Food was okay, but the service affected the experience.
The waiter repeatedly cleared plates without asking, which felt rushed and uncomfortable.
Service needs improvement.

Great atmosphere and vibes
Raw snapper tostada was ok nothing special to us, and the clam chowder was quite good! but the Tuna carnitas tacos was atrocious, one of the worst tacos I've had in socal.

Why does everything have cheese or mayo??? I believe only the shrimp tacos didn't have cheese. The service was great, drinks were good, and I also enjoyed the aguachile. I guess it's ok if you don't mind cheese on everything. Personally, I'm not dying to come back.

Probably the best ceviche I've had in SD so far. The soft shell crab taco was excellent as well, recommended
