Updated review in 2024: Regrettably, I am dropping my review to 2 stars due to the poor quality and increased prices. The turkey avocado has changed in the last six months and the pastrami sandwich was shameful (picture attached). The salads have always been subpar in my opinion. Their pizza has been good in the past but I haven't tried the pizza again since noticing the poor quality of the sandwiches. Lark and Owl used to be a staple for me so I'm hopeful they will improve.Original Review in 2023: All of the sandwiches are 5/5.

Went for a lunch meeting with another local merchant - service was great and personal, and they convinced me to try their organic tomatoes along with the (delicious) turkey sandwich. And they were right - the tomatoes & the sandwich were both terrific!Strongly recommend as a good place to eat and sit (lovely patio setting...)Kid-friendliness: Open setting with outdoor seating, plenty of space for kids to run around without trouble.Wheelchair accessibility: On the sidewalk and with a nice plaza around it - all mostly flat and accessible.

Waited over 35 minutes for a house salad with salmon and eggplant parm sandwich with literally no one in line. My wife's salad came with cheese all over the top when it was ordered on the side, for me. She can't eat dairy. Her salmon was very greasy and over cooked. The salad was doused in so much balsamic it was overpowering. My eggplant parm sandwich was no better than a C. Lots of bread and breading with a generous slice of cheese, little actual eggplant. Disappointing, especially given the price. Maybe the pizza's good but our meal wasn't.

By chance, we discovered this fantastic place offering delicious, healthy, and high-quality options. The service was excellent and friendly, creating a positive dining experience. An added convenience is that they are open from 8 am until midnight, accommodating various schedules. Without a doubt, we plan to return during this vacation.
We were pleasantly surprised by the healthiness of the food during our entire trip, and the positive online reviews were not exaggerating. The fresh and delicious offerings, especially the açaí bowl, have become our new go-to substitute for ice cream. Additionally, the owner and the friendly coworkers made our experience enjoyable. My husband and I are locals and we had never tried it before. Boy were we missing out! Had a sandwich and a smoothie today, both were outstanding, SO delicious!!! Smoothie was the best I ever had. And I will be back again for it tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and try the mixed berry. The turkey avacado sandwich was fab! Ingredients were so fresh! Thank you Lark & Owl ??

Wow, this place surprised me and my friend! We weren't expecting much and were a little hesitant with the high prices, but the sandwiches we got were delicious. My friend got the chicken pesto sandwich and I got the pastrami sandwich - both were great and fresh. Nothing fancy but hit the spot for a quick and easy lunch. They also have salads, pizza, smoothies, and acai bowls. The place is a little building with a walk-up window for ordering, but there are a few tables outside for seating. Alternatively, you could walk a few blocks to the small park in the neighborhood that overlooks the ocean to enjoy your food.

Overall, this place in my opinion is a solid meh. Overpriced, long wait times, staff not overly friendly, and other than açaí bowls there are no other vegan options. We ordered an acai bowl, eggplant Parmesan sandwich, and Italian sandwich. The açaí bow and eggplant parm were not very tasty in my opinion. The Italian sandwich was pretty good though. The portions are very large which is nice. But in my option, it would be better for them to charge less in price and give a smaller portion size. This place is okay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.
