Love it
Great ambience and nice foods! We had a great time at Marisi.
Nick was the best waiter we could have ever asked for. He made our experience so great and was OVER THE TOP. love it. Also, absolutely beautiful establishment. Food? Phenomenal. Service? Amazing. Vibes? The most top tier they could be. Truly 5 big booms for Marisi.
Nick was the best waiter we could have asked for! Delicious food and great vibes. Very beautiful restaurant as well.
Not only was the food exceptional, Nick made our dining experience memorable. What a great way to celebrate such a special day for my friend’s graduation. Hope to see you all soon for delicious food & phenomenal service.
Marisi was the most aesthetic restaurant I’ve been to in a while, the patio heaters made it perfect to sit outside and enjoy dinner.
I will say the carpaccio with artichokes was not my favorite but the focaccia and the carbonara were to die for. Hugo spritz was also delicious as was the pesto.
Service was outstanding and the staffs teamwork to take care of the table made the dinner very cohesive.
Would recommend to anyone visiting
Also, food portions 3/5
Although the atmosphere is picture perfect, and the staff was good, the food was not.
The carbonara was a tiny portion and seemed to have an entire cup of black pepper that completely ruined the dish.
Nothing we ate was worth paying what we paid.
(The picture I’m adding shows the sauce left from me scraping my plate to give it to someone else to eat)
They also include an adder of 4% to each bill (not the tip) for expenses which in my opinion the owner should be paying for, but that is just my opinion
It might be a good place to just have drinks and chill but I would not eat here again
Sad to say the setting is really all this place has going for it. The decor is stunning and fun and def “instagramable” but food was passable at best. Save your $$ and go to any other Italian place.
Had dinner last night here food was great and the service was exceptional, Lucas reccomended exceptional food and wine pairings.
My family and I went there for brunch there's nothing fancy about the place at all. The food was mediocre.

Food, atmosphere, and Scott is amazing!
Took my mom here this past weekend as an early Mother's Day for us both. Kinda bummed because I thought we'd get patio seating, but got sat right inside near the bar on stools. They had a big reservation so most of the outside was taken up.
Aaliyah was our server and she was great. She recommended the focaccia and that ended up being our favorite dish. The items we ordered felt a bit salty to us, but that could just be how it's meant to be? It was our first time eating this type of cuisine at a restaurant, so we're not sure. For us, it was a bit salty, but nothing to ruin the meal. Definitely still delicious. I ordered their sandwich and my mom got the carbonara. Ended up taking it all home (thanks Michael for boxing it up for us!)
Ambiance and decor wise, just wow! So incredibly beautiful. Parking is a nightmare, so take that into consideration. We ended up parking at The Ivanhoe garage for $25.
First, our server - Rob, was incredible. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. Thank you.
Great food and fantastic service. Had the Caesar salad, spicy rigatoni and the cabonara, all excellent. If you are a bourbon enjoyer, don’t miss the Blanton’s Gold poured straight from the barrel. Fun atmosphere for a Friday evening. Dining area is indoor/outdoor area with heaters.
Dining at Marisi was an unforgettable experience, thanks in large part to our exceptional server, Lucas. From the moment we sat down, Lucas made us feel welcomed and cared for with truly outstanding customer service. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable — not only about Marisi’s menu but also about Italian cuisine in general.
His food recommendations were phenomenal. Every dish we tried was delicious, but the focaccia bread was a standout — easily the best I’ve had in San Diego. Lucas gave us a thoughtful explanation of how it’s made and what makes it so special, and you could tell he really knows and loves the food he serves.
The ambiance at Marisi is just as impressive as the food: warm, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, with a stylish yet comfortable aesthetic that makes it perfect for a date night or a special dinner with friends.
I left feeling so impressed with both the experience and Lucas’s incredible service that I’ve decided this will be a quarterly ritual. Can’t wait to return — and I’ll definitely be requesting Lucas again!
