So I was not convinced this was an actual place upon first look at the reviews, but indeed it is and a nice place at that. It's small but cozy, with parking nearby. Located in the UCSD grad housing, you're guaranteed interesting people and the bartender is a lively welcoming person. Well curated selection of beverages and trivia on Wednesdays.
