Absolutely amazing experience here today with Claire! The drinks were delicious and served quickly. We only had a couple appetizers but they were also great! But really Claire made our entire night here. She was so sweet and answered all of our questions with so much patience and kindness.

I, a strict vegetarian, ordered a cheese quesadilla from here and after repeatedly requesting no protein and only cheese in it, the quesadilla came back with chicken. Waste of $14. Never coming back. A similar situation happened to a friend but with blue cheese in her salad. This is unacceptable. If I was allergic to chicken and didn’t notice it inside the quesadilla, I could’ve had an allergic reaction and been seriously harmed. This is a safety violation and needs to be dealt with.

Fun location by the Beach ⛱️ with bar, seating, outdoor street or back yard seating and love rhe seasonal live music, trivia nights 🌙 and even hosted a Star Wars trivia night 2025. Also, the location hosts large events casual bathrooms 🚻 spacious with baby changing station.

I am so GRATEFUL to the staff at Nautilus Tavern for canceling my order and refunding my credit card. I placed an order online thinking this restaurant was close to where I was staying on the East Coast. Needless to say when I asked for directions and google maps sent me clear across the United States to California to pick up my order, I knew I had made a BIG mistake. When I called and spoke to both the receptionist and manager they were very understanding and remedied this situation quickly and efficiently. Clearly, Nautilus Tavern has customers service as a priority! A refreshing experience. 💕

I was out on a business trip, and what a gem of a place. Friendly staff and.patrons. the staff made it enjoyable, and if you're ever in La Jolla, try to find the Mautilus Tavern!! You won't be disappointed.

Dive bar, lots of TVs for viewing sports. Fair amount of beers on tap and good cocktail list. Service is a bit slow, but now bad, they move at a slow pace. Food was really good, decent portions and tater tots!!!
