Probably the best Sushi in the area. But so deceived to see the waiter with blood on her mask and it turned to be just a fake mask after asking if she was fine. I don’t see the point of the prank!

Bendo with balanced nutrition. Mediocre Ramen. Delicious rolls but not cheap. Tip is needed.

Didn’t honor happy hour and sushi was very fishy. Asked for sauce and never got it. Not worth the money and never coming back.

Staff are nice and the outside seating area has a nice intimate feel. That’s really the only attraction to this place since the food is extremely bad. Another of many generic “japanese” restaurants very similar to fast food local chinese places. They all use the same supplier so you can expect the quality to be absolutely garbage.

Fried chicken are too dried. And ramen are on average. Curry is fine too. Not trying the sushi yet.

Sushi was pretty good. We had to ask three different people to get ginger to our table.

Had a business trip. This restaurant has been serving more than 30 years in this place. Always nice and wonderful cuisine. One of the places i always trust in SD.

Food is pretty good! Green noodles are the best. I recommend takoyaki as well. Best place to get cold beer.

Had the veggie yakisoba ($18) and a baked salmon roll ($15) and we unfortunately did not enjoy it. The yakisoba was flooded in a sauce that was flavorless and the baked salmon roll had a weird taste. It tasted like $5-$7 food, if that had been the price we likely would have lowered our expectations but we get in rent in La Jolla prolly isn't cheap. We were there mid afternoon on a Monday. We don't plan to return.
