Always check your order before leaving because if they run out of something they will NOT tell you or offer something else as a replacement, which I think is pretty rude.

Nice outdoor seating with views of the ocean and gliders from the gliderport. Great, simple food. Burgers are yum as are the gyros.

One of my favorite spots in SD. It is a family owned and operated spot filled with great food and charisma. The owners and staff and incredibly friendly, and the food is made with lots of love. My personal favorites are the breakfast burrito with gyro and the gyro burger. Would recommend!

Got the chicken gyro, you can replace chicken with falafel if vegetarian. Wonderful tzatziki sauce and pita. Speedy service as well. If you need a quick lunch and this place is a 10 min walk. Go here!

All the food I have ordered here has been good. But the service hasn't been the best. Last time I went they forgot about my order and gave my friend the wrong food. It is an order at the register, get a number, and get your food brought to you kind of place. I had to go back to the counter and the cashier seemed surprised I hadn't gotten my food after about 15 minutes and then they started to put my meal together. A time before that they forgot part of my order and I had to ask for it and wait that time as well.

Awesome view, good food, and the kindest staff. So glad we stumbled upon this place!
Best Greek food in San Diego county, hands down! No contest. A family-owned/operated hidden gem within a Scripps business complex. Freshest ingredients, traditional tasty recipes, authentically personable service, at hard to beat prices. Plus ample free parking. Unfortunately only open till 3pm. Will become a regular!

I had high expectations for my first visit. After reading all the positive reviews I thought my meal would of been excellent, sadly it was not , in fact it was terrible.I went in to order a lamb gyro. As I approached the counter the cashier went over their specials and claimed the pitagyro was something you don't see served in San Diego, pork was the protein in the sandwich, along with potatoes, veg and taztziki on the side.I was hesitant at first and should of avoided the upsell but she said it was amazing so I thought I'd try it.This was the worst sandwich I've ever eaten. There was more fat than meat. I had to spit out fat with every bite When she said potatoes I wasn't expecting cold soggy french fries. It was just a pre-made sandwich disaster.I was going to complain but there was a crowd waiting to order and didn't feel good complaining in front of customers.I doubt I'll ever go back.
Hidden away in Torrey pines this little place will REALLY SURPRISE you. It used to be a dinning hall of some sort so the aesthetics are a bit confusing when you walk in. Don't let that scare you away. They have really great authentic Greek and Mediterranean food. Everything I have had is great and they have a daily special. The food is fresh and quick so it's a great spot for lunch if you have limited time. Don't sleep on going out the back door and walking up to the porch which provides gorgeous views of the Torrey pines golf course. It is a bit of a maze to find it and to find the porch but its worth the journey on both fronts.
my first time today (3/30/23) and wow, the omelette was amazing, I was felling down but after this delicious meal I will comeback for sure! Sorry guys, I wanted to give you guys a tip but stupid apple pay malfunctioned. Rain check?

I went to Oriste for lunch. It is not widely advertised on the street, I just followed my navigator to the cafe signs behind TSRI. The parking lot was free and with plenty of spaces. The view of Torrey Pines golf course by the ocean is incredible! The fish sandwich was on the menu and I asked if I could have it as a salad instead. They brought a fantastic salad plate, with tasty fish and crab salad. Service was fast, and they brought my dish and my friends’ dishes out at the same time. The food was healthy and delicious! Perfect place for lunch with a view.
Parking: Easy to find, free
Dietary restrictions: They modified a sandwich into a salad upon request.
There's a sign that says try the chicken sandwich, don't do it.
