The manager is extremely rude
Thank you Pau and Doro for my delicious Iced Vanilla Latte while visiting the beautiful Shops in La Jolla CA. Delicious and a perfect accompaniment to my beautiful day.

Great coffee shop, amazing selection of foods
I was traveling and had to work on my laptop and you never are wrong when headed to Peet’s where is free WiFi and affordable vegan options like a plant-based sandwich with impossible patty, vegan JUST egg, and vegan cheese. They also had vegan carrot cakes, my chai latte was made with Ripple (pea protein alternative milk). Outlets if you need to charge your devices. I do get cold easily and on a chilly day they still had AC inside so I got cold after some time.
A small, cozy coffee shop with delicious coffee and friendly guys at the cash register.
Really nothing special. Like Starbucks
The server and baristas were pleasant and accommodating to me. I am neurodivergent and take a long time to order but they were patient and didn’t once make me feel uncomfortable. I enjoyed the tea lemonade iced drink which was a perfect balance of sweetness, lemony tartness and just a hint of bitterness from the green tea. Very refreshing and not caloric. The branch is in an upscale area of La Jolla and no doubt they get a lot of spoilt rich people complaining like babies, but they still stay kind and compassionate.

For 4 years usually I’m going there for coffee and some sandwiches or cake in the morning but yesterday when I was there and asking for chicken chorizo flat bread after while being in the line, they said it’s sold out, and they gave me a very cold cappuccino, when I asking please change it to the hot cappuccino, the store manager which was kind of rude, she said no it’s not cold and you have to wait long time if you want me to change it for you which was very unprofessional for store manager to treat with customers. I felt very disappointed to see this kind of store manager at this very beautiful place in the La Jolla neighborhood.

Stopped by for a coffee on our way to the airport and the pretentious young lady at the front was flabbergasted when I asked if they were owned by Starbucks. It looks literally like a Starbucks at the counter, so I was curious and she was so rude about it, like I’d insulted the core of her being lolMaybe it’s a California thing? I don’t know lol
