Stopped by for a coffee on our way to the airport and the pretentious young lady at the front was flabbergasted when I asked if they were owned by Starbucks.It looks literally like a Starbucks at the counter, so I was curious and she was so rude about it, like I’d insulted the core of her being lolMaybe it’s a California thing? I don’t know lol

One barista has tried to ban me 5 times and another one constantly harasses me. When I order they're sarcastic and clearly want me to leave them alone. Attitudes could be better.Best coffee I've ever had. 11/10 recommend. The caramel macchiato, horchata coldbrew, and pastries are my faves.PS: They're my friends, they're actually awesome. Please tip them :) <3 All the staff at this location are lovely and work very hard.

Peet's coffee is one of the best. Anyone who says it's like any other coffee doesn't understand coffee. I have an issue with this Peet's on Girard. The majority of the employees have not been trained to say, "Thank you" to we the customers. I get coffee from this Peet's every Saturday morning at 8:50 am so I know. And if they have been trained to say, "Thank you", they don't give a shit. But they have their stupid tip jar on the counter. Let me give a good tip to the GM or owner. I can go to any coffee shop within minutes of this Peet's and I give my money to you. That should be something for which you thank your customer. Send a secret shopper in some time and watch your employees. See for yourself how they act.

One of my favorite coffee places. The coffee is just excellent. The young people behind the counter were fairly indifferent but they were courteous enough. The dining area is small and the outside seating is on the side rather than out front which would be better. Truly great drinks for sure.

Went into this place for a great cup of coffee a couple days ago. Service was friendly, however, they are staffed very poorly and you can tell the workers are stressed under lack of good management, witnessed someone yelling at the main store manager, which is disgusting behavior to display in front of customers. It was a very uncomfortable experience as a customer. I would come back because the product was great however I hope this day was a one off. In all of the days I’ve gotten coffee from there this is the only time I’ve ever seen behavior like this.

I’ve come here to grab coffee over the last three years.Almost daily .I’ve never washed my hands or used their restroom before.Restaurant was empty.I ask for the restroom code and the girl says “you have to buy something” but she said it in such a weird way as if “I’m not gonna give you it unless you buy something”Was just a weird way to side-eye people at 7am because they want to wash their hands before they order.Instead, I used my dirty hands to order. Then washed them after since the girl was so concerned about using the restroom without paying first.Then, after I mention it, she just says “I have to say so” and then her face starts smiling sarcastically, making dramatic faces like a Kiwi Haka.Such strange personalities early in the morning.
