Used to eat here a lot with my office, but it's gone downhill. They stopped trying, and don't seem to care. I ordered a Grilled Beef on Rice ($25++) - usually seared and savory - but they changed it for some reason - it was pale and grey and kind of steamed. Very unappealing. Even the waiter apologized. The manager was rude and said "that's how we always make it". So that was that. There are so many good Vietnamese restaurants, they should try harder to keep standards up. We won't be coming back, unfortunately.

Pho was ok.

Grilled pork (banh mi & bun) was seasoned differently from what I am used to in the Bay Area. I did not like it.

I had their house combination pho. You know... just the same taste of pho wherever you go. But the cleanliness of this restaurant is 💯.

If you're looking for a good bowl of pho, this may not be the place to go. Even though I had multiple bowls of pho at many places, the broth didn't taste like water like it did at this location. The cost of broth that tasted like water is around $14-16.

I've tried the vegan fried rice and pho here and both are amazing! The restaurant smells like my grandma kitchen!

First time visiting this place. The gentleman that served me food does not make me feel very welcomed here.

The pho is always good and they give pretty big portions. I've tried the banh mi once too and it was huge and unbeatable for the price. Great place to stop if you're by UCSD and they stay open pretty late which is convenient. The workers are always so nice too!

Good in a pinch, especially locally if you work near UCSD. Fast service.

It’s really nice to be able to find hot pho sold at 9pm!
The taste is the same as Saigon, but the noodles are different from the wide noodles eaten in Saigon. It should be freshly made noodles that are difficult to find in the United States!
I took out a piece of barbecued pork sandwich bread🥖, which is very filling!
The boss seems very kind. Thank you for opening the store until ten o'clock in the evening. Thank you!

Surprised about the recent negative comments about this nice little neighborhood pho place. I’m an actual Asian (see other comments)living around here for 10 years and have been coming regularly. The food and service are both solid and haven’t changed. The legit complaint I’ve read is that they did reduce the portion size. I’m personally ok with it since I thought previously the portion was too much for me but to each their own. I’m glad to have this casual pho place in this part of town.
