Very good food! Great place to visit in La Jolla!
We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon lunch!! Amazing food and wonderful people in a friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back with friends.
The food was really good, and the service was great. I'm taking 1 star because they didn't have a couple of item from the menu, but overall it was a nice experience.
This is the best Peruvian food menu I’ve seen in the states! I lived in Peru for 2 years and can confidently say this restaurant is everything I hoped it would be. Everything was delicious!
Good seafood but the deserts suck and they take a long time for the bill and desert
I'm Peruvian, ceviche was terrible they used wrong fish, over cook, the Huancaina sauce was watery, not good, haven't try other dishes, to me just regular food !
Como Peruana puedo desir que este restaurante me enorgullese. exelente servicio, comida y postres. Mi restaurante favorito en San Diego hasta el momento. recomiendo: el Lomo saltado, picarones y los alfajores.
Excellent seafood, service, atmosphere.
Qala is somewhat difficult to describe, in a VERY good way. The flavors of Peru come through so linearly and unequivocally... Wow! Food here has a finesse that is not at all common. Peruvian food, at its best, is a carefully alchemized fusion of flavors, and Qala does justice to this in a most excellent manner. Highly recommend!!
Last week was the first time we visited this fine restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the generous service, with the first-rate dishes and fine drinks and with the modest charge. We will no doubt come back again.

The place was beautifully decorated with Peruvian ornaments and paints, we ate outdoor, with all the safety measures. I ordered Anticuchos (beef heart skewer), they were tender and tasty, the chili sauce was not spicy but good, papa a la huancaina was not that good, a little tasty but potatoes were undercooked, I also tried Basil pesto pasta (tallarin verde), and the grand finale, lucuma ice cream that really gave a smile. If I recommend this place, yes I do!
Great Service & Food was delicious! Ceviche de pescado my fav
DELICIOUS. I had not really had Peruvian food before, but my fiancé has been to Peru. Both of us were delightfully impressed with the quality and (for my fiancé) authenticity of the dishes. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I’m glad such an incredible restaurant took over the space vacated by Chedi Thai.
awesome food, also the service.
Today due to all we are going through. I feel many things have suffered, I believe food quality is one of them! I was very disappointed in this place, I had the breaded fish fillette, flavorless, uncooked, just not good, I would not go back!
