Ate one of the best ice cream flavors I've ever had at Scoops - Lemon Poppyseed Muffin Ice Cream.This place is awesome if you're looking to grab ice cream, crepes, coffee, affogato or milkshakes while visiting La Jolla.They're within walking distance of La Jolla Shores Park and have ample outdoor seating and a rest room. They had a really large menu with a lot of ice cream flavors and milk shakes to try - they also cater to different dietary restrictions in case you're gluten free or dairy free.Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate Dairy/ Gluten Free

Scoops has been my go-to spot for an afternoon coffee pick-me-up as the weather is getting colder! I love their little outdoor seating set up, it’s the perfect spot to people watch with a good book and enjoy the ocean breeze. I always take friends in town to this spot for an ice cream cone to enjoy while walking on la jolla shores beach!

Bottom Line: Good quality I've crean with tons of ice cream choices, regular and vegan, lots of options, and it's even fun to look at. A bit pricey for sizes but it's enough ice cream to enjoy. The Good: tons of choices, quick service, a fun part of La Jolla, close to the shore. The Bad: a tiny place where you exit through the alley (weird) and a bit pricier than some ice cream places.

Wonderfully warm Nutella banana crepe. We were sad to see the mint chip ice cream sold out, but I'm sure it would have been amazing.
Had their cherry chip ice cream - wow! Deep cherry flavor and dark chocolate quality chips! Family loved the place too. Quick and pleasant service.

Very good ice cream spot with lots of toppings. I love the honey peanut butter and brown sugar cookie. The oat milk cookie dough was alright and the special one with salted caramel was too cinnamony for me. It's heavy ice cream though :)

They serve van leeuwen ice cream so it's not really a unique ice cream offering. The workers are nice though and I did like it. I really liked the sorbets. I got the acai which hasn't been on the menu and the one pineapple blue.
