Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

I had breakfast at Snooze La Jolla using my complimentary benefit as a Hilton team member, and I’m so glad I went! The food was absolutely outstanding. fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The service was just as impressive. Maximo, who served me, was amazing: friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind.
This place has officially become one of my favorites, and I would confidently recommend it to any of my guests. Highly recommended!

Food is great, prices are decent, only real issue is the noise, but cant expect them to do much about that. Best bet might be to either order agead or get takeout and eat nearby.

Yuuuum!!!! So, so good!! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and delicious food. Gluten free options to boot! We will be back, Snooze!!

I ordered the Snooze Classic with three scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, fresh fruit versus hash browns, and sourdough for my toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly with no browning from overcooking. The bacon was crispy and not burnt. Delicious bacon! There was a very good variety of fruit. I couldn’t pass on getting the sourdough and I wasn’t disappointed. Great flavor! I received friendly service. This restaurant has a happy vibe to it.

Food is amazing and so fresh! Can make most things on menu gluten free which is amazing! Our server was fantastic! Hostess needed to do a job better though. Told us 30-45 minute wait. Got to 45 minutes and we asked her how much longer. She told us there were 13 parties in front of us, could be 30 more minutes for us to wait. We were about to leave and go somewhere else, but then 2 minutes later our table was ready. They need a better system in regards to that.

Had the pumpkin pancakes (seasonal) and the brioche French toast, both were amazing and the prices were much better than I remember (haven’t been to snooze in a while). Wait was not great, but it was a Sunday morning so I understand, also not many brunch places in this area of San Diego. Overall look forward to coming back :)

Extremely disappointed with my to-go order this morning--it was missing an item. Basically, I paid $15 for just a tofu scramble. It was a bit of a drive to the restaurant, there was no way I was turning around to correct a mistake on there part.
