Appreciated the attentive service, the food was wonderful (gyro plate with rice, baklava a delight), and the atmosphere was wonderfully welcoming and warm with the patio fire. Thank you!

Will never go here again. First visit, I asked for some Tzaikiki to go and was denied. Second time I ordered the Gyro fries and it came with no pepperoncinis, 2 olives, 2 tomato chunks and 3 slices of onion. Basically meat and fries

I come here because the food is great, but Cyd really makes me feel like I’m home. She brings an extra light to this great restaurant.

We stopped at this location on Sunday for brunch because ambience outside looked excellent. Decoration and seating atract our eyes. Lady behind the counter was helpful. Unfortunately, food was a total disappointment. Quiche and fritata was overcook. I paid for Lamb kabob, instead I was given beef. We asked for 3 hot coffees and they were cold and burnt-out. We asked for coffee to be refunded but they didn't, instead we got 3 more coffees, they just reheat the previous batch.
I wished we had asked for different choices on the menu.

An excellent owner and a warm, inviting atmosphere make this a delightful place to dine. The food is incredibly savory, and it’s easily one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in San Diego

We were walking around La Jolla and found this spot. The person serving was very kind and I don’t think I’ve ever had a gyro that had so much filling/meat! The Gyro fries were amazing too and the restaurant had calm vibes. Our food was served very fast too.

A couple of months ago my friends and I all went to visit La Jolla cove. However what I would come to find out then was they were all going to be an HOUR late. I needed to use the restroom so I went to the nearest place from where I parked. By sheer luck I stumbled upon Spiro's.

Knowing that I couldn't wait for them to eat lunch, I decided to try Mediterranean cuisine by myself for the first time. I asked the friendly cashier what was popular and she recommended the chicken gyro which is what I got. That gyro was gone in 10 seconds to say the least.

Additionally, the atmosphere was very welcoming with open doors, a very aesthetically pleasing design, and family pictures on display to show the history of the business I presume. They also had water with fruit and some kind of tea/coffee on the house!

After my friends finally made it to La Jolla I told them they had to try Spiro's.

Parking: If you go on the weekend attempting to find street parking is a nightmare. I probably looped La Jolla for 20 minutes before I gave up and paid for parking (fair warning it is pricey and costs $25 at the time of this post!)

So the food was good but the lady in there with the loud shrill voice was too much. She made the whole experience awful. There is no reason to be that loud and to look that loud that's why I come to LA Jolla to not be around weirdos
