Starbucks is a popular spot, especially when gifted cards. The drinks can be hit or miss, but the kids working there are nice. With a variety of lattes, the Venti, single shot, whole milk is a favorite. Located near UCSD, this Starbucks has friendly and welcoming baristas. Despite not accepting app rewards, the staff is great, with one even drawing a smiley face on a cup. A good-sized location, it's reminiscent of a neighborhood Starbucks, perfect for a quiet Sunday morning or a quick visit once in a while.
