My friend and I haven't been here in a while. We came for lunch, sat outside on the patio. Candice was our server, very nice and attentive. Service was excellent. We ordered a couple beers and Sake. I ordered the Sushi Roll Lunch special. My friend ordered the Jalapeño Yellow Tail, Eel Roll and Uni Sushi. All was good. Love this place for lunch or snack. Atmosphere: nice, indoor outdoor seating. Service: excellent. Food: good.

I never knew this place exists right by the beaches of La Jolla Shores. Had a lovely lunch here and everything was delicious! Fish was exceptionally fresh and melts in your mouth. I loved the unagi bowl and the seared tuna salad. The baked roll was delicious as well. Decor is modern and staff was attentive. Great place for date night or a quick bite when enjoying the day at the shores.

Found this place on one of the many other locations will Google searching sushi in La Jolla. I personally wish they had more things with tempura shrimps than what is offered. Service is awesome. We were seated right away. I do not recall the servers name but he help to recommended the very popular rolls with shrimp which I appreciate it. Food came out fast, which is also good. I felt it was decent, but don't take my rating so hard because it didn't have the items that I was looking for. My wife enjoyed this place very much and she would love to come back. I would only ask to have more items with tempura shrimps on the inside of the rolls.

Sushi Mori is great! The service is also always wonderful! We usually order the Sorrento Roll, Cherry Blossom Roll, and Yellowtail Jalapeño - so delicious!

Very nice staff in a rather deli-like setting. The sushi was good quality with a good variety. My two lesser grades were to the avocados in an octopus ceviche -- tiny cubes nearly impossible to pick up with chopsticks; and "fresh" wasabi that looked more like a green salsa and not very tasty. Parking was a bit of a search since the block the restaurant sits on has been closed off to provide outside tables. When in the area in search of sushi, I'd definitely go back.

My friend and I came for an early dinner on a Friday night. We did make reservations just in case, but we were seated right away. The restaurant itself is pretty small and all the tables are really spaced out. The staff were super friendly. Service overall was great and quick. We got all our food really fast and everything was made perfectly! I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. Food review: Miso soup: Simple, but delicious. Garlic edamame: (5/5) Omg, super flavorful! We ended up ordering 2. Crispy rice: (3/5) These were pretty big. They had a great crunch and flavor. Salmon belly nigiri: (5/5) Melt in your mouth. They were so good, we ordered 2 of these as well! Philadelphia roll: (5/5) Basic rolls, but made to perfection. Salmon avocado roll: (5/5) Good size salmon in the roll and it was great quality.
