Sent all the wrong food! No samosas. Lots of dairy in the saag. I can't eat this. Buyer beware.

Authentic Indian/Himalayan food in La Jolla.. Healthy portion sizes for reasonable prices.. I very recommend the garlic naan (like pita bread) and the chai tea.. this place is solid
The food really is so good here! The samosas had a nice spice to them, the pakora had a nice crunch and good flavor, the dumplings (forget the name) were delicious, garlic naan—always the go to, and chicken tikka masala were so good and even better warmed up as leftovers. Also super cool that the owners are from Nepal and speak Nepalese! How different! For those complaining about the prices, well, it’s in a prime location in one of the most expensive areas of San Diego. They have bills to pay too and most places cost way more than this. Love supporting small businesses. 🫶🏼

I like Nepalese food, and experience in this restaurant was very pleasant. The food and service were pretty good. Daal soup, Himalayan Chicken soup, chicken momos and garlic naan were fresh and tasty.

Our server was pretty rude. We came for our 6pm reservation and ordered drinks, she returned 5 minutes later to take our food order but we were not ready and asked for a bit more time, she did not come back for another 20 minutes and we had to order starters with another waiter. When she did return for us to order our main she laughed in our face as we ordered and told us they were out of essentially everything and blamed us for not ordering quick enough ? When there was no indication they were running low on items so getting an order in fast would be best. Then as we ordered from the few items available we picked our spice level and she completely disregarded our order and said she was going to do a lower spice level despite us being seasoned Indian food lovers/ able to handle our spice and came off very condescending. Really put a damper on the entire meal because of how she handled everything. The restaurant itself felt a bit dirty (do not look at the ceiling fan while you eat.) The food itself was terrific which is a shame.

I want to start by saying I truly appreciate the effort that Nepalese restaurants put into bringing Himalayan cuisine to us. However, I was very disappointed with the service today.
We ordered momo, biryani, naan, and chicken tikka masala. While the mango lassi and chicken tikka masala were good, the rest of the dishes fell short.
The biryani, in particular, needs improvement. The rice didn’t taste fresh, the chicken was stale, and for $22, the portion was very small. I’ve attached a picture to show the size of the biryani bowl.
The momo was served cold, and the chutney didn’t taste right.
We spent over $100 on our meal and left feeling regretful. I think there’s a lot of room for improvement, especially in terms of portion size and food freshness.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes changes. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t consider visiting again unless I see better reviews in the future.

We ordered vegetable steamed momos and dal tadka with rice. The dal tadka was mind blowing with its garlicky taste. Overall a great experience! They can enhance it more by having Bollywood or Himalayan music rather than American music.

Amazing food with a great atmosphere and service. You’re so close to the beach and there is ample parking nearby. Great vegetarian options with real authentic taste. Will definitely be coming back!

I’ve visited La Jolla 4 times now and every time I go, this is the only restaurant I come to! Absolutely wonderful food accompanied by even better service. Best Indian food I’ve ever had and as long as I visit La Jolla, this will always be my go to spot! 10/10!

Chicken momos are really good especially the dipping sauce. Also try the salmon tikka masala curry. The staff is good too.
