Service was quite slow, but it seemed to be due to the restaurant being short staffed rather than the server. He was doing his best with too many tables. The food was a bit disappointing, as both the mashed potatoes and French fries were cold. The steak itself was good, but overall the meal could have been much better if everything had come out hot.

The deep dish pizza was phenomenal. It was a bar during a ballgame so it was noisy. Not our type of thing, but everyone was having a great time and that was fun to see. The waiter was funny and attentive. I really enjoyed myself and would get another pizza in a Chicago minute.

The vibe is just exactly like Cheers. Friendly conversations, interesting characters and football on multiple tv screens. I attended the La Jolla Art & Wine Festival and on my feet for hours.... This was the perfect SPOT to unwind.

Update: went back for dinner, my daughter had the beach bowl with shrimp and said it was very good, I had the Bleu Lamb Burger and quite honestly the best I have ever had!

Super noisy. I was unsure about eating here. My friend ordered a steak and it was so tender I cut a few pieces with a butter knife. Needed a little more seasoning though. Veggies were done right and the food came fast even though the place was packed in a Friday night. I had pizza which was also good and even passed the next day cold test. I would recommend it as a stop. Good food and good prices.
