“Food was good. However, the cashiers were busy cleaning up for the night vs taking care of customers. It wasn’t late, either. It was around 7:30 or 7:45 on a Sunday. The cleaners they use are very strong. Very pinesol or something like that. Glad I got food to go because I wouldn’t want to have smelled the cleaners during dinner. Dining room had zero vibe.“

“I used to get a salad every day for lunch. I would go to the one in Mission Valley. I thought they had all closed down until I looked it up. I was very very wrong and I am so glad that I was! The Greek Salad is my absolute favorite. I add edamame to it along with the grass fed steak. Highly recommend. They also have an option where you can buy a bottle of their dressing! I got a bottle of the Greek Vinaigrette. If you are looking for a wonderful lunch the Greenspot is where it is at! The only thing is that I wish they either delivered out to Lakeside or had a closer location! Still absolutely amazing!

“Don’t be fooled by the bar entrance - at the back in a literal hole in the wall you will find delicious food. We had shrimp ravioli, mahi tacos and an orange chicken salad. We have dined at many upscale and down home places on our trip through Phoenix and San Diego, sampling tacos everywhere we went, and these were the best. Also the sauce on those shrimp raviolis was fab…someone in that little kitchen knows what they’re doing - sure wish I had the recipe for that 😊“

“We are in LOVE and truly obsessed with this delicious breakfast and lunch place on the outside of the Hilton Garden Inn. The food has been mouthwatering. Deserves a crowd daily. We've eaten breakfast here the last few mornings and everything has been the best food we've ever had. Cute little outdoor patio with amazing San Diego weather. Service fantastic and everyone is so friendly. We are sitting here now eating avocado toast and the English muffin sandwich and saying how this is the best food we have ever eaten. Great smoothies, too. Super sad to leave. Will be coming back to this hidden San Doego gem. IF you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn this is definitely where you should be eating breakfast. For lunch they have delicious options, too. You won't be sorry if you come here!“

“I haven't had a pastrami sandwich in decades, so today I thought I'd have one here. It comes to you nicely hot dressed with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo &mustard. Its quality pastrami and the bread is delicious. First time here but I'll definitely be back to try other sandwiches. Got my eye on the roast beef to order next.“

We ordered-
The Darbaand special ( I think) -
It had beef kabob, ground sirloin kabob, chicken kabob, and came with rice and grilled veggies. The platter can be easily shared among 2/3 people.9/10
Hummus - 7/10, it comes with bread. They should give more bread.
Overall, the food was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. Do visit if you can.
The bathrooms were clean, but i wish they had kept a bidet as they are a halal restaurant.

Parking: There is a paid parking lot just 2 mins (walking) from where the restaurant is.“

“Got our Easter Dinner tonight. Hadn't eaten here in over 10 years. The food was so delicious! It was more expensive than I remember but it was so worth it! The garlic sauce was awesome!“

“This Place is a hidden gem. Walking home and saw the recently opened "THE KABOB GRILL". I went in for an exquisite dinner. I had the chicken kabob- with my discount it was less than $15 for a full plate or rice, salad, yogurt and a pita. The plate comes with a grilled tomato and I requested some of their hot sauce. You should too! There is a big parking lot across the street and I was told they offer free valet.“
