Food was good.
Worker guy was very rude. Not the experience I was hoping for. The food was overpriced and not very good. I would not recommend

This is the best Mexican food in San Diego, maybe in California.
The food is perfect and the freshest in town. I love their veggie tostada so much! And the potato tacos and rolled tacos are awesome, too. The chips have a great flavor and their chipotle sauce goes well with everything and is not a crazy amount of spicy. Their Spanish rice is delicious. Veggie tostada, side of rice, and chips with chipotle sauce makes a great meal!
The people are friendly and everything seems fresh and wonderful. Well balanced flavors. Generous portions.

Food is always fresh and amazing. The rolled tacos and veggie tostadas are the best! Location is clean, cozy. Perfect for takeout. My favorite mexican food in San Diego
Vegetarian options: Vegetarians can't go wrong with the veggie tostada. If you're vegan, you can get it without cheese and customize your options. I get it with the cheese and sour cream. Either way a fantastic meal. Lots of fresh toppings. My bf loves their potato tacos.
Kid-friendliness: Our kids love the food here.

Have been going here for about 2 years now and I recommend it to everyone. My favorite tacos and the owners are really nice. Great drinks too!

Zero stars, prices posted online don't match the prices in store. Was refused service for bringing the difference to the owners attention.

When this place opened up it was staffed, and the fish tacos were really good and actually had a piece of fish in it.
Just got two tacos and there was MAYBE half a fish stick in each taco. Definitely going to Somraros right down the street if they are going to be this cheap with the food and their staff.
1 line cook and a guy at the front hustling back and forth between cooking and taking orders... Just all around not cool.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Food is excellent, with very unique flavors that differentiate it from other Mexican food places. After trying every Mexican place in the area, Acapela has taken the place of my favorite. Service is great they even give you chips and salsa while you wait for your order. They always have great music playing, reggae, and hip hop jams. So far, the California burrito is my go-to, but their tacos are delicious as well, and they offer a variety of unique choices.

Restaurantji Recommends
The food is really good, however, this place is never open during normal business hours. We've gone several times and it's always closed. They should list their true business hours instead of wasting the customer's time.
I just moved to the neighborhood and have been trying local restaurants. I ordered the chicken enchilada combination plate to go and it never occurred to me to open the container before I Ieft.
When I got home and looked at the contents, the first thing I noticed that was no rice in the container. Not the end of the world but they should have mentioned that they were out and given me the opportunity to order something else. The enchiladas had zero sauce which is what kind of makes them enchiladas. So basically I got two chicken rolled tacos and a couple of spoonful's of beans for $13.00. The good news is that there are plenty of other Mexican places in the area.

This place is a great find. I could smell the awesomeness from the barber shop next door and I had to see what smelled so good. Street taco with a home made tortilla and the fish taco were nothing less than amazing. I will be back.

Had the chorizo and eggs with beans plate with flour tortillas ?
The only bad is, the place is small so there is very limited sitting to dine in.
