Five of us went on a Wednesday during San Diego Restaurant week. It was a $50 Prix fix menu including appetizer, main course and dessert. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Appetizers: The mussels were excellent as were the venere salads. Main Course: The Calimari and Gamberi was delicioius -- Calimari steak with shrimp. The butternut squash ravioli was also great. All the desserts were excellent, but the tiramisu stood out. We had a lovely time.

Used to love Antica but over the past few years the quality of every aspect from the food to the service has slipped. We tried again during restaurant week and it just confirmed our thoughts. It's unfortunate but I don't think we'll be back.

We came to Antica Trattoria last night for the first day of Restaurant Week and had a wonderful experience. The set menu was fantastic, with plenty of great choices for the first course, second course, and dessert. We started with the polpettine and arancini, both flavorful and perfectly prepared. For our main courses, we enjoyed the fettuccine and salmone, which were absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. Dessert was the perfect ending — affogato and cannoli, both excellent. Our Italian server, Letizia, was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. We were seated on the covered patio, which was lovely, while the indoor dining area was buzzing and full — always a great sign. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended, especially during Restaurant Week!

Literally everyone who came to the table to provide service was lovely—warm, cheerful and helpful! Food was fantastic!

My wife and I have eaten here since 2017. The place was recommended to us by neighbors after we moved into the neighborhood in 2015. We were surprised to find this level of restaurant in a strip mall, but we did, and we wish we hadn't waited so long to try it. It remains one of our top go to places. Really enjoyed our time there this evening and figured I should at the very least leave a rating and some comments.

The service and atmosphere were both real good. The place was busy from 5-7pm. Ravioli's were okay but the Cippino was served almost like in a flavorless bath water soup which my wife would not eat after a couple of bites. Food was way overpriced for the quality served. $228 for 3 people, 3 drinks. No appetizers and two deserts. They asked if we wanted bread and charged $8 for it.

The quality of the food at this place as continued to degrade severely over the past year. I ordered the seafood fettuccine, and it came with large tough rings of squid and a lot of tentacles.. the other seafood included in that dish or three or four piece size, oysters, and muscles and a few small shrimp. The overall flavor was also somewhat bland. the only bright spot in the meal is that we had a good server The hostess was also completely unaccommodating.. She demanded to seat usright by the door when there or unreserved seats open farther up inside the restaurant. She claimed that this was too guarantee equal distribution of work for the servers, but that problem would've easily been solved by seating the next couple to show up by the door she she tried to give us. We will not be going back and I'm pretty sure as more people discover at this place is taking a dive. They will have to do something about it or disappear.

One of our favorite spots and go-to for Italian. Every dish on the menu is a hit, including the new short rib gnocchi (their gnocchi are the most tender and delicate). Service is first rate; they have a way of making everyone feel at home.

It was delicious. Everything. From the wine, to the casear salad to all of the main dishes. Our waiter very very nice and the staff was on it. I would definitely go back. It is not cheap but the quality of food was delicious.

We had heard wonderful things about the restaurant and were excited to try it. I made reservations on New Year's eve and didn't realize they had a special menu (my bad for not seeing that when I made the reservation), which was not that much of an issue since the menu offered options we liked but it was quite pricey. The cost would not have been a huge issue had the food been superb. However, we were disappointed in the quality of the food that evening. My steak was cooked to medium and not medium rare and for a filet was not as tender as expected. My partners pasta dish was decent but the sauce was a bit too thick. Meatballs and bread were good. Our server was great but got very busy as we finished and had to wait and ask someone else for our check. I'm thinking because it was NYE and busy, the food was not as carefully prepared as it normally is so we do plan to try this restaurant again in the future to see if it was just an anomaly as we loved the coziness of the place.

It would have been helpful if Open Table made us aware that there was an $80.00 fixed menu. We were told as we checked in with hostess. We enjoyed our dinner but we wouldn't have gone if we knew that. It was really expensive for the amount of food. Delicious as usual but too expensive and we felt rushed.

Superb food, super service, super atmosphere...guess that means this is a superb choice for fine Italian cuisine just the way you like it.

Butternut squash risotto is worth going back and having at least twice a month. Mahi mahi was prepared lovely. I always think things need more salt(wish they had finishing salt) the virgin mojitos we spot on so delicious. 2 people with dessert and tip $150. 2 mains, 1 bread app, 2 drinks( mocktail) 1 dessert (I inhaled the tiramisu at home)
