Five of us went on a Wednesday during San Diego Restaurant week. It was a $50 Prix fix menu including appetizer, main course and dessert. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Appetizers: The mussels were excellent as were the venere salads. Main Course: The Calimari and Gamberi was delicioius -- Calimari steak with shrimp. The butternut squash ravioli was also great. All the desserts were excellent, but the tiramisu stood out. We had a lovely time.
Used to love Antica but over the past few years the quality of every aspect from the food to the service has slipped. We tried again during restaurant week and it just confirmed our thoughts. It's unfortunate but I don't think we'll be back.
We came to Antica Trattoria last night for the first day of Restaurant Week and had a wonderful experience. The set menu was fantastic, with plenty of great choices for the first course, second course, and dessert. We started with the polpettine and arancini, both flavorful and perfectly prepared. For our main courses, we enjoyed the fettuccine and salmone, which were absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. Dessert was the perfect ending — affogato and cannoli, both excellent....
