Theses donuts were delicious! I ordered a dozen for game night and they did not dissapoint. I enjoyed the orange glazed donut, something I have never seen offered at another donut shop. The inside of the donut shop was clean, organized and welcoming. The ladies who helped me behind the counter were very helpful as well! I would definitely recommend Best Donuts if you are in or aound La Mesa. Eat up!!!

After the recent change of ownership, the donuts are made from frozen dough vs the freshly made donuts made by the previous owner. The business is noticeably dirtier and possibly unsanitary. It’s a shame for our neighborhood that after the ownership change this neighborhood staple has become a dump.

Stale dry donuts, rude owner, place is dirty, refused to give me lid for my hot water without charging for a coffee. Will never go there again. Disgusting. 🤮 oh and after my purchase I got to my car and he put a post it on my car window “No Parking”. I told him I was going to post a review and he told me to go ahead. He put signs up saying be nice to humans but he was not nice at all.

Been to other donuts places with the fancy stuff (oreos, rainbow sprinkles, colorful frosting, etc), but not as fresh and tasty as these babies. :-)

Best Donuts is a great example of Small Business in the USA. Their doughnuts are fresh, well made and priced better than any other shop in town. Don’t read into the negative reviews; my guess is those folks would complain about anything. I personally appreciate the variety offered, as well as coffee, juices, water and other drinks that are stocked in the cooler. Stop in when they are open, and you won’t be disappointed.
