This place use to be great. Food is awful service is slow and the messed up our drink orders which it happens I'm ok with that. The food not great. I must say he Dubai Pazokkie is to die for. I would go there just for that
The steak wasn't medium well and burger was rare rather then well done, they made them again but they just threw the steak back on bringing back charcoal to me and the burger was remade even more rare then before, finally the pizookie was burned somehow cooked more then the steak food 2/10 for sure 40 dollar steak not even cooked right is insane. Service was good though and food took a while to come out but that's expected with how busy they are very disappointing.
Treated my friend to a birthday lunch at BJ's Brewhouse. I hadn't been there for years, but a favorite place for my friend. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and sat right away. Andres was our server and he was very friendly and exceptionally good. He was very attentive and drinks were always filled. The food was good, but i would avoid the fried chicken and mashed potatoes if you don't like salty foods. Andres provided a complimentary birthday Pazookie with Ice cream that was enjoyed by everyone. Overall a great experience.
Service was polite and accommodating, just a little slow, which was interesting considering the restaurant itself was slow. Food is good, and like everything, the prices just keep going up. My biggest issue with BJ's, both in Grossmont and Mission Valley is the NOISE. When they built the place, they didn't do a good job with the acoustics and It is SO LOUD you can hardly talk with the person next to you at a normal volume.
Two and one half hours is rather lengthy for a meal, but in retrospect allowed for a good family visit, especially with grandkids. 1/2 hr to take order, 1/2 hr till meal, and unacceptable 1/2 hour to return with receipt. Also thought there is a law that tip could not be included without notification.
We were put on a 40 min wait with a reservation. So either their corporate is more interested in bodies in the door and our money than providing acceptable service or this location cannot appropriately handle incoming reservations. Then we were sat at a table that wasn't meant for the size of our party. It took 3 orders and 30 mins to get one beer. Our food was cold, the server barely came to our table. We had to keep flagging down food runners for things that we needed. Food we ordered never made it to the table but bet it was on our bill. We adjust our expectations when visiting a corporate chain but this was next level bad from start to finish.
Server great, $13 special was great value. Appetizers were good and fair value, asian chicken salad - fair value - too much dressing
great service from Jeff! Food hit the spot, too.
Took way to long to get served, drinks took a long time, food took even longer, and they forgot one meal and then forgot part of the meal when it was brought out. Asked if we wanted anything else asked for sauce twice, never came. It's all round poor service. When the food did come it was fairly decent
We went during Happy Hour and got a great deal on “sliders!” Good service and fairly prompt on getting the food out to us.

We shared Southwest chicken salad. It was plenty of food for 2 people. Salad was delicious
The food was good but the place was packed on a Tuesday night. Made a reservation and still had to wait over 20 minutes for my table once I got there. We sat down and got our drinks but then had to wait almost an hour to place our order. And dining room was incredibly loud, my party had to yell to hear one another. The food came out in a timely manner, was hot, and tasted good, no complaints there but some of the portions were a little small. After we finished got our food, however, it took over an hour for us to get our desserts boxed up and the check. We came in at 7:30pm and finally got out a little past 10pm. It was overcrowded and understaffed. Also a lot of teenagers which didn't help the noise level. I'd definitely come in after 9 or 10pm next time, if possible.
The brisket burger is fine, but the baby ribs are not good and are more expensive than twice in Chili's for the same thing. Not the best experience🙄
I do not recommend i was waiting a lot and my food was not ready at any time i just leave the place , was so uncomfortable i hate it!! BJ's😖

This is my 2nd time in 1 week going to BJ's. 1st reason is that they have excellent customer service! Natalia helped us the 1st time and that is why I came again. We also got her the 2nd time! She is such a hard worker and makes sure you are a happy customer. She listens to all of your requests and follows through with a smile always! All of the food is amazing including the weekly specials, and drinks. Half off large pizzas on Monday is one you don't want to miss! Also the pizookie meals are amazing! We are definitely going to make this place a weekly visit🥰
