Terrible waitress, never brought refills, had to get food remade 3x finally said forget it. Took it home the next day to reheat and got food poisoning. If your cook doesn't know how to cook a burger well done buddy needs to find another profession. This place isn't going to be around for much longer. Garbage chain , garbage staff . The hostess when we walked in was nice though.

Some of the worst quality and service we have ever had anywhere. Placed a to go order and arrived exactly on time. Told to wait 5-10 mins which is totally fine for a busy Saturday… but then we were given ice cold pizza and wings. The wings were about 70% the volume as a previous order a few weeks ago, and the pizza was missing over half of the toppings INCLUDING THE SAUCE.Insanely poor quality today, super disappointing.Phone rings and rings and nobody answers. Again, I know they’re busy but that’s still sub par.

The food is horrible , if you guide yourself by images food does not look like in the pics , my Santa Fe Salad description says avocado in the ingredients not even a piece was in my salad , and I got like cubes of cold chicken , nothing like the photo or description in their menu , plain food no flavor the salmon plate was plain and dry , disappointed ☹️ my first and last visit , the only good thing was the drink the Caribbean mai tai

This place has been hit or miss the last 6 months or so. Both the food and the customer service is like Jakl and Hyde. 2 out of my last 4 visits have been 2 starish. In my most recent visit on April the first I arrived for take out"curbside", checked in and had to wait 15 minutes on the red curb (because their pickup spot get used as regular). After 15 minutes I had to get out with my toddler to go getting the pizza. Get in, get ingnored by front desk for several minutes and I find out my order is the only one on the pick up rack. By that time it's cold so they have received online feedback apart from this ?

We went to BJs grossmont for a birthday party the service was ok, forgot a few items and brought our appetizer with the dinner. Our food was served somewhat separated as my husbands food didnt come out until I was half way thru my meal... The salad didn't have much dressing but couldn't get extra, the broccoli was dry. The atlantic salmon was good however the ribeye had way too much peppercorn seasoning. Overall it wasn't bad until it came time to pay the bill. The server was completely mixed up all our checks and then had to separate them multiple times before he could get it right and it took about 40 mins after we were done eating to finally get our checks and leave. The manager was informed and did nothing to help. It was a complete mess and a total waste of everyone's time. No one wants to sit at a restaurant waiting to pay the bill for that long. ? NOT RECOMMENDED!

Worst servers ever. You guys take like an hour to seat us and serve us, but still expect a tip? Yeah no that is ridiculous. Your waiters also need an attitude check because they’re so rude and snippy for no reason. Their service is below the bare minimum. Especially the older lady and the guy with the mustache.

The La Mesa staff is always friendly and professional. The staff checks on you just enough to make sure your drink and food order is to your expectations. The food always arrives on time , is made as expected and our party of 4 adults enjoyed what they ordered on this visit.

Be aware that your open table reservation only gets you 10 minutes ahead of the total wait time, so if you're going to a movie afterwards keep that in mind. Overall, it was an okay experience, especially since we had to wait 45 minutes for our food, granted it was a Saturday evening but still that was a pretty substantial wait time.
