The beer was ok. However, the comedy night puts the establishment quality review in question. It was really bad the first time we went, but we decided to give it another chance. We only saw 15 seconds. The MC, and presumably the person putting the show together, started off bet saying that the shooter at the Trump rally should have done better. We average 1-2 comedy shows around the country per week, and are more than willing to accept political humor even if we disagree with it. But I assume that every readable person realizes this Is going too far!

I absolutely love this place. Aside from them having great beer and a really cool back story, my wife and I had out wedding reception here years ago. The place is amazing for it and Bolt will always be a special place for us.

The Pacific Amber was too notch. It was a bummer they either ran out or had technical issues with the tap, otherwise I would have had another.The weather and breeze caused the venue to be a bit chilly though.

Came here on a weekend afternoon to try some beers. There are picnic tables outside and they had a Mexican food cart in front of the brewery. This is a nice brewery tucked away in La Mesa. Unfortunately I didn’t care too much for the beer selection that they had, there was nothing that really well with me, but I really enjoyed the location and the staff were very friendly. I will pop in another time when the tops rotate to try out some more beers.

Beers were ok. Beer tender was grumpy. Parking situation on a Sunday was difficult, not sure how anyone would find a spot during a biz day.

St. Patrick's Day. Band was too loud and played zero Irish music. Beer was delicious. I love Bolt Brewery. Their band selection on St. Patrick's Day left something to be desired.
