We lived in San Diego back in the late 70s and this was our favorite restaurant. It's SO AMAZING that we could come back 50 years later and it's not only still here and still wonderful, but we could even enjoy the same favorite dish (Cheese Crisp Special)!

$22 for a mediocre burrito with TGI Fridays decor.

Great location in Grossmont center. We usually order the Veggie Fajitas without cheese to make it vegan. Very yummy! Drinks are adorable and taste good.

I just leaned that this location is related to Casa Guadalajara in Old Town SD. Same menus. Same food and drinks. Good stuff overall. The servers are super friendly even when it's a little bit crazy busy. Lots of seating, indoors, at the bar, or on the patio getting some fresh air and some sun. Go grab a margarita or two.

Great company. Great food. The atmosphere was chilled. The original location was in Old Town in San Diego. CA. Same owner. Very friendly. Sorry no pictures so remember to take some when you go😊

Not spectacular. Service was good. The food was delivered fast but my husband's taco was cold as were the beans. Chili Verde was delicious. Spanish rice was blahGood margaritas. Salsa wasn't spicy enough.

Great food, atmosphere and friendly servers; best Mexican food in San Diego, my family is split between here and Tio Leo;s but this has been my favorite since I was a teenager and I am now about to turn 70 in over a week; best item on the menu is the Pollo Fundido, have gotten that for my whole lifetime eating there...had other items that were very good but that is my go to item most every time I am there or take out! Very tasty!!!! My only disappointment is that they send you a happy birthday notice but don't provide you anything extra for your birthday, I am gonna be 70 in a week and all I got was a happy birthday come and join us for food! A lot of places will give you a little something special on your birthday and that would be very very nice

My husband and I was at Casa de Pico in the afternoon. The atmosphere was great. Ordered pollo fundido and carnitas plate.
I don't know if the recipe was change but for many years my husband always get the pollo fundido deep fry and with melted cheese. (Chimichange style).
Yesterday was just a burrito with a different cheese on the top. Carnitas plate was a little too crispy like if was set on the heat lamp too long. For the the fist time we were disappointed.
Hope the restaurant keep the original recipe because it was delicious. Service was good.

Good food, drinks & service. Depending on where you're seated, it can get loud enough that it's challenging to hear others at your table.
