Great atmosphere, great food, plenty of options. Prepping for dia de Los Muertos. I had 2 crisp chicken tacos 🌮 with black beans on the side. My favorite! Just perfect with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese! Added Pico de Gallo salsa.

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous! I’ve been visiting them since they were in old town. My fondest childhood memories are centered around going to this restaurant for special occasions. When they moved to La Mesa, it was still good. Every time I come back to town to visit family we go here. Was a little bummed on my last visit to see they had removed a lot of of the original decorations. Great tasty food, great presentation, great service.

Server didn't come around to refill drinks so we sat with empty cups for quite a while. Had to resort to seeking out server. Food was good and atmosphere was okay. I come here a couple times a year always hoping for a better experience...maybe next time, but i doubt it.

Went the one time while on vacation and met the whole family there. Food was decent. The meat for my street tacos was DRY! 🫤
The food was amazing which included fresh handmade tortillas as well as drinks and atmosphere complete with mariachi band to serenade us before our big wedding day! We loved it!!

Arrived after 430 on Saturday. The place was packed, but we (party of 2) were seated immediately upon arrival. Hostess & Waiter's were great! Everyone was friendly, attentive, great attitudes despite the high volume of patrons. Music & Ambiance was pleasant & enjoyable. Our food was served rather quickly. First, our drink order was taken. Chips & salsa we're brought to our table while we waited for a short while. Our Appetizer came first, a tasty sampler. Then, our food order was taken as soon as the appetizer arrived. Our entree's were brought to our table a short while later. Our meal was enjoyable. Our drinks delectable. Great service! Loved the decor, especially the Mariachi Music!!
