One of the best places in San Diego for Mexican food that delights you with its wide variety of dishes with fresh products daily, I highly recommend it for any formal or informal event 10 out of 10.Vegetarian options: Very good selection of legumes, vegetables and fruits for salads

Our first visit to Casa de Pico was a true delight! Not only were the nachos and queso fundido con chorizo incredibly delicious, but the service was exceptional too. From the warm welcome to the attentive care throughout our meal, Casa de Pico made us feel right at home. We can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience!

Still loved the Bazaar del Mundo location best, but glad if they had to move, that they moved closer to our house in East County. Brought some friends from out of state there last week for lunch & they LOVED it!! Had to wait for a table outside (short on servers at the time). We both ordered & shared the Fabulosa Mexican Favorites, best deal on the menu, & loved it all..including the warm chips, great salsa, & the beautiful SD weather out on the patio. Am pretty sure they'll be asking us to take them there again next time they're in town.Parking: Usually always crowded parking around the mall, but can find a spot within a few rows.

Hummingbird smoothie was a standout hit. The food was hit n miss--the enchilada was not very appetizing (didn't like the dense cheese n sauce) and the tostada was stale; the refried beans tasted like they were from a can. The flour tortillas tasted homemade. The meat was ok. The chile relleno was good. The ambiance is colorful. Restrooms were well stocked. Would return for brunch or drinks.

No more happy hour. After 20 years of visiting the delicious food has changed and the portions are smaller, but the vibe is still nice and service is great. Personal go-to was the machaca burritos with cheese sauce

Came with friends that have been here before. Food was good, and service was great. Cadillac Margherita was very good. I will definitely come back to try more items on the menu. Everyone in our group said they enjoyed what they ordered.

Pico means tiny, but there is nothing tiny here. Casa de Pico serves up some of the best receipies in San Diego and no one is going home hungry. The portions are plentiful, the food is absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. I always walk away from dinning here pleasantly satisfied with gratitude and a smile.

I would like to compliment Julianna! I was greeted on the phone very kindly by her as I was placing an order. She was very helpful and made me feel like family. I will be coming back again as the food is delicious and the service is excellent! Thank you Julianna for a great experience.

Updating from 4 years ago...this place has gone down in 4 years...the service was awful and the food was worse. It is not long the Casa DE Pico of Old Town...nor the strong siren of Grossmont. It is a watered-down, whitewashed version of its previously authentic self.As a kid in the SDUSD, we had a yearly field trip through our Spanish class to learn how to speak Spanish in public. Therefore, we would go into CDP and order our food in Spanish. As a poor innercity kid, this was amazing. Me at my own table, in old Town, ordering "...taquitos de pollo..." It was AWESOME!! And a core memory I will always hold in my heart. I'm crying typing this because I think of the sacrifice my mother made so that I could have money to go on the field trip.Unfortunately, the current CDP is no longer the place in my memory. And it's horribly sad because it doesn't have to be this way. Maybe CDP need to change to accommodate the mostly white population in the area, not realizing they could have stayed the same and let us 'kids' come 'home' to our core memories.I won't be back, but my memories I will always have.

We came in for a quick lunch on a weekday. We only grabbed appetizers the small taquitos and some nachos. Both appetizers were good. We even had leftovers to take home. Our server was friendly. Everything came out in a timely manner.I think if you order drinks the total for one person could be $20-$40

Can't go wrong with this iconic restaurant. I used to hang out in it in Old Town San Diego in the 90s but it's been relocated to it's new location for years now. Best margaritas mojitos , chips and salsa. Always a happy atmosphere and good time memories.

Tasty chili rellanos and rice. Nice patio setting. Fair prices. One very big negative....sitting us right next to another table with several people. While there were an additional dozen tables nearby with no diners, that we would have really appreciated. It would give us more privacy. Those other diners next to us were right "on top" of us, and they had a DOG!! A bit of common sense can go a long way!
