If you haven't tried a fruit tart from Gus's, you are totally missing out. Divine to the taste buds, to say the least. I buy them for gifts as well due to the stunning presentation of a flower. Mango and strawberries wrapped elegantly. It's definitely worth a try. You will be hooked.

My friend and I wanted to try Gus's Subs & Pizza Place for the first time today since we live in the area. We walk into the place and we were not greeted, after 5 minutes we were asked "are you ready?" We were given our drinks at the counter where we paid and after standing there for two minutes we decided to seat ourselves. Mario (The Cook) was very nice but I have to be honest. He handles the credit card machine and also we caught him making our food, several other orders all with no gloves and not even washing his hands. I saw him put is bare hands into the pepperoncini jar to refill the peppers bin. Several health code violations!!! Tremendous room for growth !

Where's the meat on this $15 9" sub? 75% of it's volume is bread and lettuce. First time trying and probably my last, you can get a cheaper sandwich of the same size with twice the meat at jersey Mike's.

Big portions of food served. I always get to take some home for the next day! Also the good friendly service there makes me want to return. There are outside tables if you are in the mood.

Live in the area and went for a brunch here. The staff was cherry picking customers in term of service, even served the ones who sat after us just because the server knew them. Well, I’d ignore the mediocre service if only the food was good. Dry and overcooked eggs were a bad sign of a restaurant. The rest of food was bland, no flavor at all. Oh my. The first and the last visit for sure.
Pastrami sub is best I’ve ever had. Meatball is my second go to. Get both!!! Need a meatless option try their fish sandwich. You will want to come back every chance you get.
