Great burgers! Very juicy and the fries/onion rings were amazing! I had a strawberry clawtail that was bomb!

My father owned J.Camp antiques, where Johnny B's is at now. Was so nice coming back after 30 years to be able to enjoy the memories of growing up. The food was delicious, very friendly staff, few old photos of the bldg when it was a post office. Was also really cool walking out seeing all the old classics parked on the street.

Me and the family were walking around downtown La Mesa trying to find somewhere to eat and stumbled upon this place and so grateful we did! Everyone was super friendly, the food came fast and was absolutely delicious. We all just got appetizers to share and the wings were my favorite, they're perfectly seasoned to where you don't even need sauce. My husband got the California nachos which everyone loved. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend.

Our server was attentive and super friendly..she was awesome. Food was ok...good enough. Noticed that the options included alot of spicy and you could not substitute. For instance the "nachos " had haberero chicken but you could not substitute a milder version. The flavors, however, where delicious.

We came in minutes before the kitchen closed and they still sat us, gave us great service, and YUMMY food! The lemon drop was a 10/10. Sliders were great. Fries were top notch and plentiful (I recommend sharing a side of these).

Would give zero stars if possible. Very unfriendly staff. Guy with grey hair is absolutely not fit to work with people. Will never buy food here. And will tell everyone i know not to eat here. Thanks for nothing!

Over Priced and Over Rated! Probably the worst and most disappointing burger I've ever had! The buns were very basic. Smallest hamburger patty that literally fell apart while I tried to take a bite! Had no flavor at all. I could have made a much better burger myself at home! Thank goodness I ordered fries too because the burger definitely left me feeling hungry. It was more like an appetizer. There were hardly any other customers inside. Was kind of a depressing atmosphere.

If you want a real burger, try Cali Stack. Theirs are grass fed thick Angus beef that are absolutely delicious! Even the bread they use for their buns are great quality. This was my first time ever trying Johnny B's and will definitely be my last.
