I called in to place an order for pickup(which I do once or twice an month) and the guy on the phone just acted like he couldn’t hear me and hung up(he could hear me). I called back again and asked for a pickup order and he said “no we’re too busy” and hung up. Incredibly rude staff. They completely ruined my day and made me feel like a burden for even calling. I don’t care how good the food is, I will never return here and I will tell everyone I know not to come here. Save yourself the time and effort and go somewhere else where the staff is friendly.

Went to Johnny B's for the 1st time the other day. I live in La Mesa so I'm all for supporting local. Burger and fries were awesome. Janelle was our server and she was THE BOMB.COM!! Her attention to our needs made the dining experience fabulous I'll definitely be returning

Always a great experience here! Friendly, "cheers"-like environment. Favorites are 4 for $5 wings and half off whiskey shots on Wednesday. And Sundays for breakfast with a big mimosa with pineapple juice. Ashley, Lauren and Holly are always so welcoming and attentive. Will happily come here again and again.

Live around the corner. 1st day there was amazing, good food, good service, & good people. Sometimes, all it takes is one person to spoil the day. 2nd day, the very next day I had to return, and it was crowded. Only one table was open, (table for 5) but still dishes from last party. There were 3 of us, again. We asked the lady a question. She was maybe 50ish, short hair, blondish-brown, if we can have this table... She said, "No, it seats 6." Just wait until something opens. In my mind was, "seats 6 with 5 chairs? Ok." So we waited, but another waiter came along and said we could sit at that table, and so we did. However, Mrs. Karen returned & with an attitude, she says, "I told you! You guys can't sit here! I have a party that reserved this table. " I said, "the waiter said we could sit here & she says, I don't care this table is reserved. We didn't argue anymore, but we got up and left. Found Hills-Pup around the corner and had good food and good service. Never again want to deal with any Karen's.
The food is consistently good, especially their patty melt. I like the casual sports bar atmosphere.

Perfect place to meet up with friends for delicious food in a great atmosphere for great conversation. The service was on par. My burger and wedge salad were comparable to a high end place. The server even provided extra bleu cheese for the salad quickly upon request!! Definitely will return!

We enjoyed the waffle and wings. Probably one the best waffles I have ever heard. The servers were friendly but our actual waiter was not. Other staff constantly greeted us and by them being so friendly and flexible, the waiter stood out in a negative way.The atmosphere is buzzing with sports and conversation. Seems like a local favorite, the way the staff greeted and knew certain guest. We're going to visit again with the hopes of better service.
