Visiting this fest in particular was a first for me. I thought they did a good job about having variety among vendors. It would be nice to see more authentic oktoberfest food options, although I'm new to CA so- not sure if that cuisine is here or not. Great Brat/Sausage varieties and a couple pretzel spots. That was the most I saw within Bavarian cuisine though.

Could also use some seating or public restroom Options outside of the ticketed Beirgarten...
They used to have the bands out by the street where everybody could see them. Now the bands are all in the beer gardens and you have to pay to go into the beer gardens. This being the case, I walked around for about twenty minutes.Got bored and left.
Good food on the street stands, especially the bratwurst with onions and sauerkraut (which, sadly, is the only German food there).The gated beer tent area was hardly worth the $5 entry fee if you came for some German beer because they were out of it. The beer that they still had is generally available in stores and restaurants, nothing unique Oktoberfest. Also, they had it ready in the plastic cups where it went flat before you even bought it.The 2 rockbands The Trip and Journeymen...
