First time here and sorry but I won’t be returning. The carna asada nacho were just average. Also had the El Diblo surf and turf burrito which was very good. $42.00 for nachos and a burrito imo was just more then this lunch was worth. Not sorry I tried it but at that price I just won’t go back.

1st visit@ Los Pinos, rice & beans w/green & red salsa were fresh, flavorful & seasoned impeccably. Def will return to taste the bbq/adobada selections & the guacamole. Menu is vast w/many veggie options. Staff is--remarkable!

I am addicted to the steak fajita burrito and the pollo asado quesadilla. I eat at this place at least two times a week, sometimes more. It’s to the point where I know the owner. DO NOT SLEEP ON LOS PINOS. There are a lot of options in SD, but I keep coming back here because it’s just comfort food to the max. When I can’t think of what to eat, I come here. When I don’t feel like eating anything but I know I have to eat (depression) I come here (and it cures my depression). If you’re not eating at Los Pinos, what are you even doing with your life?

Probably the best taco shop in La Mesa.

Best Mexican food in La Mesa hands down. If you're planning on going up the block to sombreros, don't waste your time and money! Everything I order off of the los pinos menu always exceeds expectations!

Super bland breakfast burritos. Green hot sauce was above average but red hot sauce had zero flavor. Menu was kind of limited. While not bad, there are surely better choices in taco shops.

We were charged over $70 dollars for 2 kids menu rolled tacos, beef rolled tacos that came with no guacamole, and 2 regular burritos. The order was wrong and the cook must have been working the register. Never coming here again

The chefs make delicious food. The waiting/dining area is clean, has a TV showing pleasant videos of nature, and there are interesting art pieces adorning the walls. The staff provide excellent service, and even go above and beyond to make sure you'll have an excellent meal. I have had a great experience each time I've been there, and plan on continuing to be a patron.

Parking: Strip mall-style parking. It hasn't been packed any of the times I've been to the shops there.

Wheelchair accessibility: I saw wheelchair accessible seating when I visited.
