The chefs make delicious food. The waiting/dining area is clean, has a TV showing pleasant videos of nature, and there are interesting art pieces adorning the walls. The staff provide excellent service, and even go above and beyond to make sure you'll have an excellent meal. I have had a great experience each time I've been there, and plan on continuing to be a patron.

Parking: Strip mall-style parking. It hasn't been packed any of the times I've been to the shops there.

Wheelchair accessibility: I saw wheelchair accessible seating when I visited.

Visiting from AZ. Asked some locals where to get great Mexican food. Los Pinos did not disappoint. The potato taco was out of this world. Bean and cheese burrito was huge and delicious. Also the beef tacos were fantastic. The owner was super nice as well. Love this spot, will be going back again before heading back home.

This was the worst mexican food I've ever ordered. The rolled flautitaswerecold and floppy. When I picked the first one up, it bent in half and the toppings fell off. I the Horchata was all settled instead of in a brewing machine. I won't ever purchase from here again.

Don't get me wrong, the food is great. Everything they use from the meats , to the home made salsa to the flour. But I think you should visit this place for the people alone. They are one of the most genuine and kindest people you can meet in San Diego. They love their customers and if you are someone who like to part of an establishment because you also share the same values, then I highly recommend you visit them. Oh and try the carne asada taco!

Good food and the service (the owner) is friendly and attentive. Taco Tuesday has been a highlight with tacos 50% off but today I ordered my usual and was charged full price. The server (not the owner) said the fish tacos only are 50% off, which is news to me. Sad to see the old deal go!

Gem of a taco shop! I have been here 3 times and each time I'm impressed. I've tried the fish tacos, the breakfast burrito, and Carne asada fries. I honestly don't think you can go wrong here. You've got to get their habanero salsa!

Place has went downhill.
Small portions and expensive.
Carne asada chips- $22.00 and $1.00 more for hot sauce.
Used to be a favorite but i there is better.
Also always forget my carrots that i pay for.

A small hole in the wall taco shop that serves up the best street tacos in La Mesa/Grossmont area. Only thing preventing 5 stars is the high prices, but the food itself is amazing!

Vegetarian options: Bean and cheese burritos, and bean tostadas are great options. My vegetarian daughter approves!

Boy oh boy! Talk about a hidden gem! Excellent food and even better customer service. The owner and his family work so hard and it shows. They create a welcoming environment with some of the most authentic tasting Mexican food in San Diego. They also have a hidden menu items including a cheeseburger quesadilla and chipotle hot Diego friend in flour tortillas. YUMMMMM! Come try this place. They are truly a hidden gem! Oh and the Horchata.... out of this world! Made fresh here! 100% recommended

Our favorite local go-to for tacos and burritos. They have fun specials. The best jamaica, strawberry agua fresca and horchata. And salsa guacachile. Always great service!
