The chocolate muffin was not sweet and very bland, had a nasty aftertaste of an old musty carpet, the cashier messed up my order and gave me the wrong muffin, the drink was average and too sweet

Hidden gem of La Mesa! Cute family owned shop with many coffee options. I got the Fox, which is a honey cinnamon macchiato. They also have little pastries such as apple turnovers and muffins. Pricing was very reasonable. The staff is great too! Michael was very friendly and welcoming.

Coffee was good, their tea selection is delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and a joy to be around. Its a quiet shop with minimal foot traffic especially after 10 AM its perfect to read or work or chat at any time.

My wife and I came by this place by chance on July 4th, 2023, and loved the whole atmosphere about this cozy cafe. I have found my new hot spot for morning coffee. No need to get coffee for "points" anymore and the coffee taste better than the mermaid one by the mall. We will be regulars from this point on and will tell a friend or two and three. A great place and the guy behind the counter had a great friendly attitude, and awesome customer service.

Was trying to find a local coffee shop in La Mesa near Grossmont center and this place is so cute. The coffee was high quality for a very affordable price. Very happy I ended up here, and will be returning soon! Support local business ❤️

Charming and cozy. My first experience here, I arrived around 10am. It was quiet and warm on this cool, rainy day. Soft furniture, books, and regular chairs/tables. Barista was welcoming and friendly. Mocha was delicious and my muffin was tasty as well. Hope to return.
