My first time here. Older mexican restaurant and a well-known name so I had expectations. Went at 7pm on a Thursday. Seated immediately, lots of open tables. Ordered a margarita. Server brought chips and salsa. Salsa was the ONLY redeeming thing about my experience, smoky and so good. Ordered the trio fajita plate, with shrimp, carne, and pollo. The three friends dining with me also ordered fajita type plates. Finished my margarita while waiting, server never asked if I wanted another. 15 min wait for food, not bad. Server brought it out, placed everything on front of the wrong people. Even as we were telling him where to put it. Fixed all that. Then, he placed one container of tortillas in the center of the table. 6 tortillas for 4 people eating 3 fajita plates.Looked over my fajita skillet; shrimp was super small, carne tasted bland and tough, pollo wasnt any better. Had to track down the waiter 3x to ask for water and more tortillas.Asked to split checks between the four of us, said they could only do 2 and 2. Why? We figured it out, paid, then left. Won't be going back.

Everyone that works here is awesome and friendly...I feel like family when I walk through the door. The portions are immense, and the prices are very reasonable! Jorge, my server, is so friendly...and they sing to you just because!

Went for the brunch and it was clear they were understaffed, which is understandable but to be made to feel like a bother is not. It is very loud as seating is very close together. Brunch is a good deal, so will try again hopefully with a better outcome.Parking: Had to park across a busy street. Playing frogger before dinner not so bad, but after dinner required expert level.

Have a hankering for some tasty Mexican food? Swing by Marietta's and satisfy your cravings! Their vast menu caters to all, and let me tell you, the chicken fajitas I enjoyed with refried beans and rice were served sizzling hot. We also ordered the shrimp fajitas also equally awesome. It's no wonder this place is a top pick in East County!

Much better than the one on main Street in El cajon. It's cleaner and the food isn't greasy and the place doesn't look worn downWheelchair accessibility: Love the ramp for the handicap

I've been at the restaurant a few times. My daughter and her family, this is their go to spot for Mexican food. That night-we were there it was pretty busy. I think our server was a little overwhelmed. I know we'll be back.

Hands down my favorite Mexican food. I’ve been coming here my whole life and my parents have been regulars since before I was born. Delicious every time!
