Ordered momentos platter and quesadilla platter. Pretty normal. Pancakes are a hit with the kids, as always. I liked their beans that came with the quesadilla. Nothing really stood out but enjoyable lunch nonetheless.

? Compliments to the Chef wow?The carne asada is tender, season perfectly, and fresh salad amazing. The price is fair for what they bring to the table. I definitely recommend the surf and turf burrito.

Had never been here, we were just walking around looking for a coffee place, when we found this lil place , as soon as we walked the aroma was delicious, so we ordered the huevos ranchero and chilaquiles verdes. They were beyond what we expected. Very tasty and fulfilling. The plates are pretty big. And service is good. Definitely will recommend and come back.

Stopped in on a whim for breakfast. Had a breakfast burrito with bacon and cheese. It was so fresh, simple and customizable. Other options I could have gotten were ham potatoes or to get it was a platter. This control worked very well with my diet. It was served with two salsa options, the green milder one and the spicier red. I found the green to be a bit salty but still tasty. The red has just the perfect amount of heat for me.Asking with this I got the Café de la Olla, a sweet cinnamon coffee drink which definitely hit the spot. The place wasn't very busy at 10am on a Sunday. I found the staff to be friendly and the music lively. I would definitely come back.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options if you ask to alter your meal if you are calorie conscious.

Came with my mother to have breakfast for her birthday since she was craving a Mexican tradition meal. I was very happy and satisfied with everything, customer service was great the wait time for the food to come out was only minutes. We ordered sopes and chilaquiles and you can pick any meat for your topping, I also ordered a cafe de olla and it was so good I love how I can taste the cinnamon. I came early but as we left at 11am place was getting full of people, you should come by!

So we came here based off of reviews and we happen to be hungry for breakfast and at the mall. I ordered the chilaquiles with and over easy egg. The plate came, and the egg was fried on one side only, and the egg yolk was exposed. I explained that wasn't an over easy egg, she went to the back and the cook told her what I asked for was an over hard egg. I said no it's not (because then the yolk would be cooked all the way through), I just want it fried on both sides and she took the plate back and said they would redo it over hard. So I was expecting an egg fried on both sides with the yolk cooked through, which I guess I would rather have than having the white part looking raw like sunny side up. The plate came back, and looked exactly the same, as if they just brought back the same plate. If you are going to correct a paying customer, at least follow through with the supposed correction. I have asked for over easy eggs at dine in restaurants like Broken Yolk, Dennys, IHop, Janet's Cafe, House of pancakes, Aunt Emma's and various Mexican restaurants and I've never had the egg come back looking like this. Always fried on both sides , but not cooked all the way through, like over hard.If the chilaquiles flavor hadn't been as amazing as it was, I probably would've left it all. So, at least everything else was flavorful.

Came down from Temecula to visit my mother who lives in La Mesa. She wanted to take us out to lunch to a place where she's been before and loved. So we ended up here. Nice setup the service was really awesome and the food was absolutely delicious..My fiance had a vegan plate which is also a plus to have those options.Carne asada burrito was fire and so was the chilaquiles.Definitely will come back again and recommend this place.

Great restaurant located in the Grossmont mall! Very simple setup - order at a counter and seat yourself. Came here for breakfast and ordered the chilaquiles verde - SO good. They make it fresh so the chips still had a nice crunch and chew to them. Very flavorful. Parking is super easy since it's in the mall. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

They do not have a nutrition menu. I was told it wasn't a requirement only if they have 7 or more employees but when I went there to see if I wanted to dine in I counted about 8-9 employees. I don't like to put food in my body that I don't know what exactly I'm putting in my body.

My first time there it was excellent. I had the 3 sopes, and my wife had the torta de milanesa. They were both excellent. We will be back.
