I recently visited Ney Restaurant and what a wonderful gem it is in La Mesa. The food and drinks were delicious, and the portions were large. Honestly, this might be my new regular place whenever I’m in the mood for Mediterranean food.
This place is so delicious you must go if you like Mediterranean food I've been here several times and every time I go I'm always impressed by the level of quality of food it is incredible delicious and reasonably priced they have a great Happy Hour and dinner specials so check them out here's a pic of my dinner

Ney should be AYE! The food is excellent and the servings are ample. One entrée easily feeds two adults. But don't let that stop you. The leftovers warm up nicely for a second meal. If you like a sweet mojito be sure to try the Arak Mojito, delicious! Don't be afraid to ask for off menu favorites. I got a Kafta Kabob that was killer.

Really good food but unpredictable take-out quality. We like grabbing take-out from neighborhood restaurants. Since we appreciate the broad range of dishes offered by Ney Restaurant, they are part of our "rotation." The food is usually good, although the quality and attention to detail suffers. Sometimes the dish is served without garnish or sauces that are part of the dish and we don't discover the oversight until we get home. This is sad, because their sauces are very tasty.
This is probably not an issue for in-store dining because you can send the dish back if it does not contain everything in the menu description. Be careful with take-out though.

Service was excellent. Layla was very pleasant and sweet. We ordered the combo platter Al Muhib Grill which was way too much for 3 people and could have fed 5-6 people. The food was really good and I personally loved the beef and chicken tikka kebabs.
