It’s a trendy spot, but couldn’t find any good seating. The WiFi wasn’t working either. The latte was mid but the breakfast sandwich was tasty. I wouldn’t recommend coming here to get work done

Oh my goodness- the food at this coffee house is so good. We ordered the “Signature Breakfast Sandwich” , the 2 Scone w/ flight of 6 Butter Sampler and a Vanilla Latte. The total bill came to $31 (not bad for the quality of food and drink). The breakfast sandwich was flavorful (bacon, egg, cheese and sauce). The bread was toasted to perfection and the house chipotle aioli sauce added an excellent touch. The butter for the scones were out of this world delicious; scones were baked perfectly. A+ is the score I’d give to this establishment.

This spot is vibey and has surprisingly good food! We've been here several times and the menu is relatively small so we've tried and enjoyed just about everything on it. The staff is kind and relaxed and seem to really be enjoying themselves! This is a fantastic place to hang out and sip your coffee slowly.

A friend recommended I try the scones here, and I'm glad I did!! While my Americano was perfect, the warm scone with their cinnamon butter was indescribably delicious! A super chill vibe made this an experience I will gladly return for!

Just moved to the area and addicted to this place. Staff is all super friendly and remember your name , and the outdoor seating is perfect for people watching or just chilling… Coffee is good too!

Let me start by saying that the food and coffee is amazing. The lattes are made with pride and the food is unique and delicious. This place is busy for a reason. Its a smaller place for the amount of business they have. That is not a bad thing, it just means that you have to patient. The Uber butter and the scones are my favorite. 10/10 for creativity and deliciousness.

Great food. Decent coffee. Limited seating.
Loud. Noisy street. And then a 4 piece combo started playing...
Pretty much eliminated any conversation for a Sunday morning.

Great atmosphere and food. Outdoor seating is my thing. Service is slow on Saturdays, but worth the wait.

I’ve been hitting up all the trendy spots lately with my son, and Public Square in La Mesa is definitely a winner. This place is super hip and attracts a young, lively crowd. We went on a Saturday morning and it was packed, it seems like everyone had the same idea to grab coffee and scones here!

Here is what we ordered:
• The Scone: This was amazing. It has that perfect texture, crusty on the outside but incredibly soft and moist on the inside. Pro tip: You have to try it with their honey butter. It is so good.
• Avocado Toast: Another hit. It comes on crunchy toasted sourdough with fresh arugula on top. Simple and delicious.
• Hot Chocolate: Heavenly! It was creamy and rich, exactly the way we like it.
• Matcha: This was on another level. Very cool and rich in flavor.

Even though it was busy, the service was super efficient. You just order at the counter first and they deliver the food right to your table. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great brunch spot in the area!

I love this coffee shop, but they are so slow. I’ve waited sometimes 30 minutes for a coffee right now. I’ve been waiting in 10 minutes just for a coffee.

Delightful and delicious, what a hidden gem! I enjoyed the scone with fig & honey butter, breakfast sandwich and brown sugar latte (yum cinnamon). Servers are so friendly!

I was in the area and decided to stop in. The coffee was pretty mid, and the price on the board didn’t match what I ended up paying at the register. On top of that, the cup sizes were smaller than expected. Overall, not the best experience.
