A DUMP!!!! The theatre was very dirty and super old! I was very uncomfortable due to stained seats and dirty floors and filthy armed rests and cupholders. Very disappointed!!! However, the staff members were really nice….five stars to the staff on duty 3/17/24 at 2pm at the Grossmont Theatre. No stars for cleanliness!!!

I've been going to this theater for probably over fifteen years, it has always been my go to theater because of fair pricing especially for Titan showings, and a good location.I'm a father of three young kids and my wife and I have very few opportunities to get a babysitter and go out for a movie night, maybe only a couple of times per year. Last night was one of those nights, we were both excited to have a date night and go see the new Dune movie.Unfortunately, just a few minutes into the film starting we saw that a huge hair was on the projector lens or glass and it went across half the screen. At first it was funny, and we thought we would just go out to let them know about it and fix it. After asking several times, and seeing other movie goers asking for it to be fixed, nothing was done. We had a huge distracting hair across half the screen the entire movie. I'm extremely disappointed that the staff just ignored multiple requests to fix this, and that one of our few movie nights of the year was dampened by something so easily fixed.

Lots of formats, clean theaters. Seats in cinema 1 could be more comfortable, but they're OK enough. 70 mm and TitanXC options are cool, giving the option of comparing different presentation formats for some films.

Cheap and convenient, but along with outdated interior and seats, it seems management is outdated as well as i heard a few workers while in concessions and giving my ticket referring to what seems to be their work meeting as “pow wows” it wasn’t a coincident as one (older) guy seemed insistent to call it that. this was deemed culturally insensitive to call work meetings way long ago already, unfortunate to see and hear as no one on the staff was native.

Workers were very nice, had a variety of different foods which I love and their 70mm showing of Tenet was great!!! Would love to come back if there are more 70mm showings for other movies!!!
