I Actually Came Here To Try Their Food. I Wanted To Come Here For My Birthday Dinner On The 23RD. I Came In And Waited @ The Door For 5 Mins And Tried To Sit @ The Bar But They Had Drinks On Table By The Only Seat Available. Oh Yeah So I Sat Down And Waited @ The Table By The Entrance. I Finally Got A Waitress & She Rudely Said You Need To Wait To Be Seated! I Said I Actually Waited For 5 Mins And Tried To Sit Down @ Bar But Couldn't. I'm Sorry But My Leg Was Hurting And I Had To Sit Down. She Just Rolled Her Eyes And Looked @ My Cane And Handed Me A Menu. I Ordered The Beef Brisket. Oh Yeah You Have To Order And Pay For Each Side Separately. I Ordered The Baked Beans And Potato Salad With A Craft Beer. I'm Sorry But The Brisket Was Average. I Actually Didn't Care For The Beans Or The Potato Salad With Mustard And Pickles Either. I Definitely Did Like All The Pretty Waitresses And See Why All My Male Cousins Like This Place. I'm Glad I Had To Use The Bathroom. I Got To See The Picture Of Jacky Gleason And The Firebird Hood In The Hallway. I Would Of Never Known That This Place Is Actually Named After Smokey And The Bandit. Oh Yeah Was Definitely Wondering About The Giant Miller Mural And That's From The Movie Too. Yeah Definitely Not Gonna Celebrate My Birthday Dinner Here.

The Dirty Fries are honestly the worst I've ever had. The meat was not well cooked Fries didn't taste any better. Sausage by itself is $22!! Outrageous! The sad thing is the waiting staff are really professional and friendly. But the food is horrible and expensive.

Meat was undercooked. We was seated by an open door on a windy day with a child. Food had leftover taste, had to go home and finish cooking their meat. First and last time here

This place is a cool place. I rated the food a 4 just be cause I'm not a BBQ person but my husband is and loves the BBQ there. I thought the sides were good.
The services was great . My family and I came here last weekend and was greeted by Emily with a friendly smile. She knew everything on the menu along with the beer menu. She was so kind and made us feel at home and we ( my family ) agreed also with me. Thank you Emily for making are day with your great friendly service. We hope to have you as are waitress again. If not we will request you!!
Kid-friendliness: Their was a kid party when we were there. It liked like they all were having a good time. Their also is a back room with games and pool table. The theme in the back is set up so cute!

Came here to try this Bbq place for the first time with my parents on Friday January 24th and I ended up with food poisoning from the chicken it was way too pink the other food we ordered was great also the service was great but getting food poisoning was not the plan
Will be back for the brisket!
We tried combo plates and the brisket, Mac and cheese, creamy corn & pulled pork stand out. Fun atmosphere with good food.
Good beer selection on tap and plenty to offer in cans and bottles.
Kid-friendliness: Arcade with a coin machine in the back. Bring some dollar bills.
Wheelchair accessibility: All areas are accessible by wheelchair

Third time we have tried this place and have been disappointed every time. Really wanted to like it-sadly this was our last time.

Food was not good. Brisket was basically just fat and mushy and beans weren’t good and you could tell the chicken strips were made in likely rancid oils, and corn was meh. Pretty surprised the 4 star rating. People were nice and I liked the decor inside

You can’t have “Brisket” in the name and the brisket be mediocre…..Sadly I was disappointed both times I came. Brisket is mushy so I suspect maybe they boil it before smoking but I’m not sure. It also lacks much flavor. Ribs weren’t much better. Staff was very nice. But the meat doesn’t hold up very strong compared some of the other BBQ spots here in SD. It’s a cool local spot so I hope it changes for the better.

It's good food but pricey. Having to add sides à la carte is lame. The portions are small.
The art/decorations are awesome tho. I really do like the feel.

Worth the try - solid BBQ place, good sides, great caesar salad (5 star), meat was a little dry and I didn't quite care for their house bbq sauce but their gravy is top notch! Great service and loved the layout and aesthetics.

Pretty terrible hamburger sandwich. I ordered it medium. It was raw in the center, and camouflaged with heaps of green leaf lettuce and some sad brown onions

A solid option to experience true Texas style BBQ. They also have great daily and lunch specials that are a great bang for the buck.
