I really like this Sunny Donuts location where La Mesa meets the 125 freeway. The donuts are good and the people working very friendly and have great customer service. When they didn't have my chocolate with peanut topping, she went in the back and made me one, who does that! They treat customers right, here. A nice place that deserves your business.

Terrible donuts, looked like a toddler made them and they tasted weird- a few tasted day old and the others were dense like bricks. Won't ever go back and this place used to be great! Hadn't been since we moved from La Mesa a few years ago and gave it a try. Nope- stick with yum yum or honey donuts

Went to go buy a croissant and got food poisoning do not recommend this place. I think they need to get a stove to cook the egg bc they put it in the microwave or they should just not sell food and only sell donuts!!!!!

I would post a photo but THATS how amazing their glazed donut is. I ate that thing so fast. It was sooooooo PERFECT. Warm, a crisp crunch of the glaze that wasnt overkill; just PERFECT. Biting into the crisp glaze then FLUFFY donut. It was my first time yesterday and I am going to there for a lifetime. I think I found my new favorite study spot.

Great, fresh donuts! The service was kind and efficient. My recommendation is to go early in the morning though to get the freshest donuts. We went later in the day, and the selection was limited.

Run!!! Omg! Worst donuts EVER from a shop! These were like 2days old! They are not even covered from bugs etc! I almost went with my instinct, but I'm mad I didn't. This place is selling stale donuts! It is so gross in there, it feels like an old rundown dirty building. Then after the fact, I read the reviews here! Omg. Such gross stories! And many about how stale they are! Do NOT pay for this crap! Go just down the road to where I usually go, Miss Donuts on Campo Rd and Conrad. Always very fresh! Omg. I feel sick after eating a donut. Old donuts are the WORST. The place is very unfriendly too! JUST GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!
Donuts are tasty but not restocked as once the major donut shop would make donuts all day. A good product but I miss the old guys that would sit there for hours for refills on coffee and chat. I miss the good ole boys. Also miss the buZz when people ate Donuts I'm the pre Keto days! My fondest memory was pink boxes from heavenly donuts and the pick shops with square glazed donuts. We used to stop at Quality donuts on Market Street near 32nd and a dozen were priced at $2.99 a mixed dozen and the elderly smoking lady with a large mole on her face would smile in her husky voice what may I help you with? Those were fond donut memories!

Ok I don't have any photos but it doesn't matter!! Sunny's Donuts if you don't know is the greatest donut shop to ever exsist!!! The lady who runs this place is the sweetest person you will ever meet, and she loves to ask if you will wait she has fresh donuts coming out... my wife thought I was joking, but when we went the first time we got fresh hot donut holes !!!! My fav then the second time we got do but holes the lady gave us a hot cinnamon just because..... let me tell you this was life altering!!! I had never had a hot fresh cinnamon roll in my life! I wanted to cry all I could do was enjoy he moment too the lady extra and thank God!!! All in all We Love Sunny's Donuts

I was so looking forward to a nice fresh donut. I even bought a couple for my friends. I just took it out to eat it and oh my goodness this thing was days old!!! Nasty. I will never make the mistake of going there again.
