One of our favorite places to come for pizza. 2 slices and a drink. Great pizza. Love the outdoor seating and especially the indoor/outdoor bar-style seating. Can be popular with large groups and kids.

The pizza was delicious!!! I loved that they had gluten free crusts that tasted great! Sooo many different toppings & options available too! Fun, laid back atmosphere. I loved the outdoor seating area!

Servers were fabulous. Pizza, salad, and garlic knots were great. Pizza by the slice.

Shout out to Carlos, the manager who helped us make our Soccer Party happen. So easy to order at the county, all of the staff was stellar, even when super packed and busy. The pesto bread was incredible.

Came to this spot after the gym to watch some playoff baseball and this place honestly has some of the best pizza in San Diego. Slices are large and generous in portion and they offer other things like garlic knots, salads, and wings. TVs all around and a bar on the other side for that sports bar feel. Outside area is also abundant for those bigger groups

They have this really good deal for two slices and a fountain drink or 16oz beer for around $16.00 before tip.

Finally, downtown in general has a lot of other bars you can hit after if you're looking to bar crawl.

This is our ‘go to’ restaurant after doing all the stairs workout. Nothing beats a nicely baked pizza with a hazy IPA to wash it all down. The staff is also friendly and welcoming. That’s adds to our willingness to patronize this restaurant regularly. Keep up the good Surf Rider team!

This spot has been a go-to for my family and I, so naturally when my girlfriend and I couldn’t decide where to eat, I just factory reset back to Surf Rider. Everybody there gives outstanding and welcoming service but I have got to give Jordan in the kitchen a shout-out on being so knowledgeable about pizza & a genuinely kind young man. Thanks for the BBQ slice brother.

Looking good I will eat there ASAP. Customers seem to like it. Very busy parking sucks. All parking in the Village sucks.

The pizza is good. Not great. They have interesting flavor combinations, and to their credit, the G.O.A.T. has massive potential. It's like savory dessert. The dough is pretty tough, either from over kneading or low hydration. I had to bite down hard and pull to take each bite. But my opinion isn't based on empirical data... What is based on data is the wait time. I ordered pizza hours ahead because I wanted it for kickoff. I burned 3 hours of vacation time to pick up pizza and make it to a party I was hosting. The restaurant was dead when I showed up at the agreed upon time, and I think they overlooked or forgot my order. A cashier told me they needed 10 more minutes then disappeared... Lunch break maybe? Either way, I never saw her again. I started writing this review after waiting 21 minutes. I'm going to miss kickoff, but that's a first world problem. I've had their Pizza before, and I'm returning. So it's good enough. My review is admittedly influenced by my mood right now, but I'm not sure I'll have their Pizza three times. Now it's been 25 minutes. Still no pizza. What's the point of ordering ahead? If you've got nowhere to be, eat here. Don't order this pizza if you're trying to make plans or stick to a schedule.

Terrible experience. The staff was rude and unfriendly from the start. Got scolded for not knowing you have to order garlic knots before getting to the register (how would anyone know that?).

Waited 45 minutes for a pizza while people who ordered after me got theirs first. Asked twice for an update and both times got a rude, sarcastic response basically “you’ll get it when it’s done.”

The whole vibe from the employees was unhelpful and sarcastic. Pizza isn’t worth dealing with that kind of service. Food was decent but would really hesitate to visit again since the service was so off-putting.
