There are 3 choices to sit...main room, that's been remodeled and is very open, side room and outside. If you time it right inside is pretty quiet, but it gets pretty noisy at peak hours. A testament to how good their food is!

This La Mesa Swami's is cute and comfortable, with murals on the walls and lower lighting in the main dining area. The side dining room is a little bright for me. But the restaurant is clean and the staff are really nice. They serve big portions, have a huge menu and everything I've had has been good. I've been here many times but the most recent time I ordered the orange cranberry waffle. I asked to add banana and whipped cream on top. When it came out it had banana, strawberries and blueberries on top with whipped cream and it came with a yummy orange simple syrup. The chef made it special for me with the extra berries, since the waffle didn't come topped with anything and all I asked for was the banana. The waffle was crispy and warm and just melted in the mouth. There's something so comforting when someone makes something a little extra special for me, I was delighted to get the berries ?
